How about we return to playing the Final of the cup at Newcastle #5(as previosouly announced EOS 46 but not followed thru on) , Matt Krevs old club Relegation Material?
Its a ground that can hold the crowds, although seeing 40000 fans squeeze into 19000 seats at the last final was amusing, plus it seems fitting that the final should be played at his ground if possible.

Furthermore, why not use the club in a similar way to that other club the Centre for Homeless Players and store some players there?

We did have some finals there but we have to work out how to control the pitch for the team awarded home ground or play on a random/neutral pitch.

The ground for the final was extended on the friday and returned to 19k on the monday, the modern world does have temporary stands now.

We will revisit it this season and see what we can do

I imagined you had the ability to control the pitch and that the home side would notify you in a suitable time frame as to what pitch to prepare.

Matt was a regular user of the transfer market during his career, notably selling players every season. I reckon it would be a credit to his club more so than to sully his memory if his club was used in a manner to offer good players a 2nd chance of staying in the game.

we did the pitch manually but it can still cause problems, some people don't want to give away the pitch until the last minute
we will sort out an automatic way in the near future

As for selling players it will get less and less, it already has and given we have a team for it not sure we will make any changes in the near future
