Congratulations!

Ruff Royals Nimeämätön XI
Batting - Top Order 13,003 13,527
Batting - Middle Order 9,959 9,902
Batting - Tail 5,072 3,725
Bowling - Seam 12,970 (12) 12,868 (16)
Bowling - Spin 11,568 (8) 13,038 (4)
Fielding/Keeping 15,440 15,011
Overall 215,434 214,439

Nimeämätön XI won by 10 runs.

Not too much in the game but early wickets cost us. The bowling (and fielding) wasn't great from us but Kirk with 42 and Burgess 52 not out were decent with the bat.

Youth cricket is where all the action is for me this season and any points won could be vital. I'm batting first on a slow pitch against the second placed team so I'm up against it.

E. Maynard (lm) 6-0-35-0, F. Baldock 39 (36b), N. Hernandez 15 (28b)
End of over 35 (9 runs) - Ruff Royals(160-5) RR 4.57

We started quite well and were 78-0 but slipped to 103-5. I think we'll need at least 200.

B. Carter (rm) 8-1-53-0, J. Wall 13 (6b), F. Baldock 46 (46b)
End of over 40 (13 runs) - Ruff Royals(189-7) RR 4.72

Didn't manage the 200 so we might struggle. A nice highest knock by Baldock though.

E. Perry (rm) 4-0-13-2, R. Nero 4 (10b), D. Rogers 10 (14b)
End of over 8 (5 runs) - Gold Prospectors X1(26-2). 164 runs required from 32 overs. RR 3.25 RRR 5.12

An okay start with the two 16-year-olds out the way but there's a lot of quality batting left.

Not quite enough runs as I suspected. Nero and Browne took the game away from us. We're still out of the relegation zone but it's a huge game next week against Bathaloner.

Uneven pitch and I've picked a young side. I'm not sure we're going to get enough against Stick of Rhubarb as we've not even got the RR to 6 an over.

lost the toss on humid/slow and put in to bat, had a wonderful 251 run opening partnership and was always going to be tough for my opponents from there.

result: won by 135 runs.

that seals promotion, got quite lucky with a fairly poor quality Div 3, but I think we have the quality to make the step up to Div 2

and my aim for the last two games is to try and get as high up in the middle order batting rankings as possible    got to have something to keep me interested before next season 8)

Congratulations. :clap It does look to me like you'll have enough quality for Div 2.

Ruff Royals won by 304 runs.

A cracking 112 from Xavier McDowell was the outstanding performance from the batsmen as we scored a modest 331 given the opposition. It took 1 ball over 10 overs to bowl them out with 7 wickets for 10 runs for McCutchin.
