Away today in cloudy and flat conditions, lost the toss and bowling first! Need a victory to keep us favourites for promotion.

Score is currently 133 for 3 from 28.1 overs, finally got their bloody boundary hitter that we had previously dropped :doh

Nimeämätön XI Pedagogs
Batting - Top Order 13,033 14,320
Batting - Middle Order 10,910 12,027
Batting - Tail 6,219 6,398
Bowling - Seam 12,936 (40) 12,747 (40)
Bowling - Spin 12,259 (10) 14,045 (10)
Fielding/Keeping 15,038 16,337
Overall 223,547 238,625

What. A. Chase. That was agonising. Their opening batsman had a freak innings and scored precisely 50% of their runs. Given a sizeable 351 to chase, we've done it with 5 wickets in hand. Another stunner of a knock from Terrance Callaway whose average this year must be knocking on 70 odd.

I think that makes me relegation safe, but with two very difficult games to go predicting a finishing position is impossible.

I've been offline for a few days so I've missed all the fun.

Essex Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 13,404 14,371
Batting - Middle Order 11,010 10,634
Batting - Tail 4,540 4,453
Bowling - Seam 11,671 (8) 13,392 (12)
Bowling - Spin 12,617 (12) 12,710 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 15,179 16,362
Overall 218,009 228,065

Ruff Royals won by 6 wickets.

This T20 win secures my place in the league for another season and moves us up to 2nd.

Ruff Royals Danger Hotspurs
Batting - Top Order 6,639 6,085
Batting - Middle Order 5,364 5,311
Batting - Tail 3,138 3,049
Bowling - Seam 4,864 (8) 5,849 (16)
Bowling - Spin 6,163 (32) 5,390 (24)
Fielding/Keeping 7,408 6,999
Overall 109,168 103,600

Ruff Royals won by 36 runs.

Another win that secures my place in the top division next season but this time it's my youth team. I can now play more of my 16-year-olds. :dance

Lower Standards CC Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 13,666 14,342
Batting - Middle Order 9,407 10,201
Batting - Tail 6,282 4,504
Bowling - Seam 13,528 (40) 12,854 (30)
Bowling - Spin 13,306 (10) 12,106 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 15,953 16,116
Overall 226,420 222,810

Lower Standards CC won by 4 wickets.

Sadly, we ended the week on a low and, with the exception of Solomon (54), we batted poorly again. The bowlers tried hard but just couldn't get McCullough out who went on to hit 78 not out. We should still stay up but we need another point to be certain.
