Yes that is the only real downside. Are you going to make your guy an allrounder or batsman?

Going allrounder... but training on bowling tech.

How about you?

Allrounder as well. I will give him a level of fielding and then on bowling tech until he evens out a bit, then on allrounder.

It's a shame you can't mess with a level or two here and there to balance them out... sacrifice one skill for another... would be a great feature!

Thats true, but it wouldn't be nearly as fun as deciding what kind of player fits into your roster and then developing the appropriate training plan! Okay that reeeally makes me sound like a geek

I ought to be able to turn him into a decent keeper.

He is a weapon! Blunted slightly by the experience, but everything else should ensure he is a top class fm bowler. Not sure exactly what he could fetch, but definitely 7 figures I would suggest.

Mine was nothing like that, but still one to keep, and with some great talents.

Not sure if the pulls seem so much better with the only 16 year old aspect now, but really interested to see the sort of ratings nat teams are putting out in 4 seasons time.

I would say it has an impact. I’m not sure it will mean much of an increase in match ratings, because very few 17 year old pulls ever made it to national level. However it should mean far greater depth and choice in national selections, because there are many more 16 year olds being pulled and less throw away pulls.

Yeah experience sucks a little but not too bad. Hoping he sells for more than the 525k hes going for at the moment!

Still 24 hours to go, although I am wondering if that will be another byproduct of the exclusively 16 year old pulls. Because there are more decent players, we may not see the ridiculous prices we have seen in the past for good 16 year olds.

Yeah could very well be the case. Still thought the Prodigy talent paired with reasonable bowling would suck a few more in. But as you say, still 24 hours to go.
