Johnston is a freak, better than Price. Not sure if fgrenyu changed the orders from the team I had down, really awesome ratings nonetheless!

We're at risk of reliving the dons vs kwicket former glory days of bickering here  .... You forget that I still have the tracking info for Price at an equivalent stage, and Johnston has more potential.

End of over 8 (2 runs) - New Zealand U19(17-3) RR 2.12
J. Raymer 2 (8b) , D. Johnson 7 (16b) , D. Thompson 4-0-11-1

I set orders today, and it's been a pretty disastrous start. -Runs and hides- :ninja

Hard luck Maca. When the top order implodes like that, it is hard to win but it was a good effort by the lower middle order to set a competitive score.

So the first match for the final tour is underway. I got caught out by my own pitch change as /i wasn't expecting it to change to green until after the game hence why /gleeson isn't in.

End of over 29 (1 run) - Bangladesh U19(97-5) RR 3.34
R. Shakil 18 (29b) , K. Mahmud 7 (19b) , N. Gooden 5-0-23-0

Gooden being expensive here. Nigel Johnston had a good opening spell, taking 2 wickets and Sands is about to finish a good spell for him.

End of over 50 (6 runs) - Bangladesh U19(208-9) RR 4.16
K. Mahmud 54 (73b) , K. Dutta 7 (5b) , N. Johnston 10-0-45-3

Very disappointed with that after having them 106/6. Just not aggressive enough in the overs 30-40. Hopefully Stephensen and Stephens can get us off to a good start as this will be a challenging chase.

Extremely well placed here as Johnson begins to show what he can do and Kay continues on from the last tour when he averaged 88.
End of over 27 (12 runs) - New Zealand U19(130-3). 79 runs required from 23 overs. RR 4.81 RRR 3.43
D. Johnson 30 (36b) , R. Kay 27 (44b) , K. Mahmud 4-0-25-0

Well on top here thanks to a superb partnership between Kay and Johnson. They are looking like they will be to two batsmen that opposition teams will fear in the next season and a bit

End of over 39 (8 runs) - New Zealand U19(191-3). 18 runs required from 11 overs. RR 4.90 RRR 1.64
D. Johnson 57 (76b) , R. Kay 54 (80b) , A. Haque 10-0-58-1

Kay going slightly slower but doing more than what is required in difficult conditions.

New Zealand U19 won by 7 wickets

End of over 43 (5 runs) - New Zealand U19(209-3) RR 4.86
D. Johnson 66 (88b) , R. Kay 63 (92b) , K. Dutta 7-0-36-0

Kay moves his average in competitive games to 151 with that effort, his highest score and Johnson also putting on a highest score as well. 139 run partnership on overcast/green is very, very good and I'm looking forward to the next match on wednesday.

New Zealand U19 Bangladesh U19
Batting - Top Order: 7,342 8,500
Batting - Middle Order: 6,873 6,790
Batting - Tail: 3,791 3,703
Bowling - Seam: 6,829 (8) 7,752 (8)
Bowling - Spin: 10,598 (2) 9,231 (2)
Fielding/Keeping: 6,654 6,621
Overall: 126,110 132,369

Goodish ratings deficit to overcome and they did have a few 19 year olds on there whereas we only had Wills.
