M. Becker (rfm) 8.5-0-30-4, C. Morgan 7 (9b)
End of over 47 (maiden) - Kramerica Industries(173-10) RR 3.68

While it looked like I was setting a pretty solid platform at the 30-over mark, things really crumbled after that. I have worked wonders with fewer runs on the board than this, but the odds of doing that against a batting lineup like the one that Everett is sporting are very, very slim. Unless I get a lot of breaks (and luck!) I think he's got this sewn up.

Good ole Becker capitalised there. You gotta be gutted!

I've lost from more favourable, can't see it though. Englebert and Dhamasiri been very solid this season.

C. Morgan (lm) 3-0-9-1, D. Turner 11 (13b), S. Shakil 0 (2b)
End of over 6 (3 runs) - The El Dude Brothers(27-2). 147 runs required from 44 overs. RR 4.50 RRR 3.34

Both openers dismissed. That's the kind of start I needed; however, one single partnership of any consequence and all hope is basically gone.

Lane is a damn good bat, but if you get down to him you deserve the win!

Any talk of Lane's batting is extremely premature. I'm an awful long way from him even remotely being in the picture.

Defending these totals requires some luck, so a trigger wicket to Amsterdam or Chandana in their first spells will make it interesting.
16.3WChandana to Turner : [Doosra] Turner gets a thin edge and Nugawela gleefully accepts the chance.D. Turner c C. Nugawela b. R. Chandana 27 (49b 1x4 1x6) SR:55.10

Chandana doing his bit with a trigger in his first spell.

25.5Wvan Amsterdam to Nicholls : A rather innocuous delivery there from van Amsterdam strikes the pad and the umpires finger goes up with the appeal. Nicholls seems to be channeling his inner Watson as he signals for a review. Morgan comments "it's park cricket champ, there's no DRS here".B. Nicholls lbw b. L. van Amsterdam 16 (27b 2x4 0x6) SR:59.26

Not a trigger, but van Amsterdam did get a wicket in his opening spell. The trouble is that I gave up way too many boundaries between the 3rd and 4th wickets.
