A bit late to the summary :)

Pakistan had a friendly match with Sri Lanka on a sticky pitch while the weather is windy on 25th January at Sri lanka CG.

The Visitor "Pakistan" won the toss and elected to bat first.
A steady start by both the openers until Selvam Ushanthi started to bowl his wrist spin, he took 4 for 7 in his first 5 overs and make the visitor to rethink their game plan. In the end he took 5 for 25. 8 of the wickets taken by the spinners and Pakistan restricted to 161.

In reply Sri lanka had a very good start and post 70 runs for the loss of just 2 in 18.4 overs. After the magical run out Pakistan came back strongly and had a win of 9 runs with the help of Hasnain ismail who took 4 and Kevin Billing with 3 wickets.

2nd match of the tour vs UAE

We won the toss and elected to bat first, openers had a solid start but our top order then suffered a collapse, leaving us at 50-5, where our keeper Shakespeare again took responsibility and anchored the innings to take us to 208, scoring 88 from 124 balls.

Our bowlers did well, picking up regular wickets and keeping us in the game. They had a couple of 50 partnerships but our spinners brought the game home in a close fought 3 run win, with debutant Sarfraz Waqas the pick of the bowlers with figures of 10-2-31-4.

Player of the day goes to Sarfraz Waqas for his fantastic performance on debut, and William Shakespeare gets an honourable mention for his batting performance.

Credit to the UAE for running us really close despite the ratings gap.

3rd match of the tour vs Bangladesh

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Our bowlers bowled well for the most part, though they did manage to get together a 71 run partnership for the 4th wicket.
Bangladesh were restricted to 188 all out in the end, with the pick of the bowlers being Hasnain Ismail, who picked up only 1 wicket but went at an economy rate of just 3.00

in reply, our batsmen gave a good performance, with Aamer Munaf scoring a half-century, and we managed to chase the target down comfortably, winning by 6 wickets.

Player of the Day goes to Tasleem Agha, who was a little expensive at first, but then picked up 3 crucial middle order wickets, and ended up with figures of 9-0-45-3

4th match of the tour vs New Zealand

We won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Our bowlers did a great job, never allowed them to dominate as they were all out for 152, with Raja picking up 4 wickets, Rauf 3 wickets, Ismail 2 wickets, and 1 for Waqas the youngster.

In reply, Amjad Sabri anchored the chase beautifully with a nice innings of 65 from 110 balls which helped us get home with 4 wickets in hand.

This win also guarantees us promotion to Division 2 :party
