Pakistan U19 v West Indies U19 >> Match Ratings
Match Ratings
Pakistan U19 West Indies U19
Batting - Top Order 7,519 7,732
Batting - Middle Order 6,458 6,360
Batting - Tail 3,877 3,342
Bowling - Seam 7,332 (30) 7,202 (30)
Bowling - Spin 7,696 (20) 8,226 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 7,850 7,554
Overall 128,480 127,119

Good 34 run win to start things off.

Just about every batsman contributed, with the highlights being a solid 54 from Faqir Stankzai, 47 from Abid Junejo, and 32 off just 39 balls from Farid Shoaib.
In the bowlers Mishary Al-Afasy was the boss, with figures of 10-1-29-5, and Farid Shoaib provided good support with 10-2-41-3.

Player of the Day is Mishary Al-Afasy for his 5 wicket haul, as 3 of his wickets were of set batsmen, who could have taken the game away from us.

We will start preparing the squad with players for next season.

Batting - Top Order 7,198 7,779
Batting - Middle Order 6,813 6,903

Bowling - Seam 6,829 (30) 7,427 (30)
Bowling - Spin 8,097 (20) 8,806 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 7,707 7,971
Overall 127,282 136,219

Really close game, which we managed to edge by 1 run.
Credit to the bowlers for bringing us back in the game.

Our batted first and could only post 173, Imtiaz Asad top scoring with an unbeaten 51 with Haseeb Munir's 42 the only other notable contribution.
Canada U19's batsmen gave them a solid start, but our bowlers came back well towards the game after the opponents were in positions of 95/2 and 125/4.
Inamullah Umaid and Taimur E-Rabbi took 3 wickets each and were really economical, while Sarfraz Ghauri started off expensive, but came back very well to also claim 3 wickets.

Player of the day is Inamullah Umaid for his figures of 8.5-1-21-3, the wickets he took were important ones, as he first broke the 66 run partnership for the 3rd wicket, took the 4th wicket, and then dismissed the #11 after it was looking like he might take them home.

Bowling - Seam 7,192 (40) 7,135 (40)
Bowling - Spin 9,073 (10) 6,754 (10)
Fielding/Keeping 7,486 7,581
Overall 130,563 122,036

Good 33 run win against England, our top order gave us a good start and we were cruising at 158/3, before the England bowlers brought them back into the game, bowling us out for 203.
Opener Mujahid Hanif top scored for us with a solid 93.

Our bowlers did a great job as they did not allow their batsmen to settle down, they only managed one 50+ partnership which helped us defend the total.
All of our bowlers picked up wickets, but Amir Sheikh is my player of the day, as he was the most economical bowler with figures of 9.5-0-30-3.

He dismissed both openers and then returned to claim the last wicket.

Batting - Top Order 7,088 7,210

Bowling - Seam 6,848 (30) 6,376 (40)
Bowling - Spin 7,796 (20) 7,473 (10)
Fielding/Keeping 7,460 7,312
Overall 122,984 120,648

Lost by 3 wickets, our top order again started off well but our middle order failed to capitalize, and the Scots bowled well to restrict us to below 300 on a Flat pitch.
We went from 125/0 to 153/6 before Qarar Rehman scored an unbeaten 59 to get us to 298.
Contributions also came from Naik Hasan (88), Jabir Chatta (69), and Qamar Abubakar (48).

Our bowlers could have done better, but overall they did well as we just did not have enough runs on the board.
Pick of the bowlers was Rauf Shehzad, who was the most economical with figures of 9.4-0-51-3

Player of the day is Qarar Rehman, who rescued the team from a position of 153/6 and got us to a decent total.
