3rd match vs Scotland U20 in Green/Sunny conditions.

Won the toss and batted first, strong opening partnership of 70 runs set the tone and middle order built on this with everyone contributing, leading us to a strong total of 262/8. Top scorer was Shams Asad with 75 runs, and other highlights were 50 runs from Rafiq Saadat Ali, 40 from Khalid Biland, and a quick 30 not out by Nadeem Ilyas.

Aside from a second wicket 101 run partnership, our bowlers had the game under control as they piled on the pressure and picked up regular wickets to contain the opposition and dismiss them for 166. Each bowler picked up at least one wicket, and highlights were Akram Ud-Din and Nadeem Ilyas with 3 wickets each.

4th match vs USA U20 in Green/Windy conditions.

Won the toss and batted first, again a 70 run opening partnership set the tone for a strong batting performance. Had a couple of mini-collapses in the middle and lower order but still managed to score 284, which should have been a good total. Top scorer was Pir Munir with 84 and Furqan Samad scored 50.

USA U20 openers started well and kept things ticking despite losing couple of middle order wickets. We finally managed to pick up some late wickets but their keeper Jared Williams was in inspired form and guided them home on the last ball of the match and scored 80 not out from 80 balls.
Pick of the bowlers were Shahid Sadaf and Mian Umair with 3 wickets each.

That was a thriller indeed and congratulations on securing promotion.

288 on a slow deck is never going to be easy for Canada.

Final match vs Canada U20 on Slow/Windy.

Another great batting display for us guided by 90 from Rafiq Albert and 81 from Hamid Biland, both scoring at a SR of over 100, led us to 288/5.

Bowlers did their job as the opposition batters found it tough and no one from their side could really get set. All bowlers picked up at least one wicket and dismissed them for 207. Mian Umair picked up 3 wickets and special mention for keeper Shams Asad who got 5 catches and a stumping.

USTADEAZAM55 Player of the Day award is shared between Rafiq Albert and Hamid Biland for their 166 run 4th wicket partnership.
