Pulled this guy with my affiliate. Put him on the market. It is a pitty about his fielding although Average batting with average tech and ord power with seam specialist talent he might have some potential. Hopefully i can make some cash of off him.

Left handed is also very appealing.

With more than 4k spare a fielding pop should not be too far.

Taking keeping out of the equation he is still a very decent 21.7k rated player, though the average keeping would be boosting the wage a bit.

With nearly 4k spare he has plenty of capacity for some quick pops.

If you really need a spin bowler then you can always go with that and view the talent as a useful lower order bonus. You can go with allrounder if you really want to, but he will probably not reach the desired levels at 19. Keeper-bat will probably be your best bet to take advantage of the higher keeping skill.

I would actually really like to see more managers dedicatedly buy the decent young SA players on the market to give them the proper development they need with a good academy.

My affiliate is already at capacity and I am honestly struggling to keep up. If I could buy them all I most definitely would!

Boscorp for instance is selling 2 nice 16yos that are definite U19 potential. Leaguegod just listed a monster pull even though the skills are a bit twisted.

If we form a group with interested managers I can even list the players that should be aimed for.

There is honestly a lot of young SA players that end up on the market and the majority of them either end up in teams where they get horrible development (very likely intentionally) or they get cut where they aren't sold.

I reckon the ideal approach is to promote 2 players (batsman and bowler) to your senior team each season with a continuity conveyor model.

These players should be identified at 16 already and should be included in your default youth team when 17 (16 if they are gun) to build their experience.

If you have players in your senior squad at the age of 25 for instance which you do not have capacity for in your core lineup then you should honestly look to sell them otherwise their experience growth will also be lacking. There are plenty of teams who want these type of players, even when they are not NAT potential, and they pay good money for them.

So planning is very important to feed your senior team from your youth academy. Even though it is a complete lottery with what you get from your youth academy, the bonus is you don't spend money on the market to buy players and you also save 10% in wages which make a good difference to help balance finances.

Other than that the rest of your youth team should be made up of 4-5x 18 and 19yos for each age. Players you include at 18 are basically just filler players with no real future, but it is still very possible for them to serve the U19's if they are decent. 18yos you do not have capacity for you should look to cut or sell if they are not completely trash.

It is getting a bit late in the season so it is probably better to just go bowling.

We got to develop those wristies.

You should probably look to push fielding a bit first, but you will need to start playing him from 17 to grow his experience.

Real pity he is a medium, but the left arm does make a difference.

Things are starting to look promising for the NAT scene to be up and running again next season, so continuing to develop players is still very important.

My pull this week is also quite decent, so I now have my two star 17yos for next season to include in my main lineup who will go on to promote to my senior team.
