Re: Under 19 Matters
Many teams do that esp when elections are due, seems a waste of a chance to see some new faces

Re: Under 19 Matters
Hi everyone
Firstly I'd like to thank the previous management for their efforts and also those that ran in the elections. Secondly, a huge thank you to all that voted me into the SA U19's position. I appreciate the opportunity to represent the country and will do my very best to get the team performing as well as possible with what we have in the squad.
I'll be running an eye over the squad in the next day or two and making some slight adjustments as needed. If you receive a message regarding training suggestions then please know that it is only a suggestion and nothing more. All players are club players first and Nat players second and I completely understand that. Generally I'll just outline what i'd like in an ideal scenario and what will help that player either get selected tour or to play more matches on a tour. Ultimately its the individual managers decision how to train and that is fine by me.
I will also be looking to add a few assistants very soon. I have some in mind but i am open to anyone interested in a position. Put your name forward and we can discuss what you can bring to the table and any potential role. Communication skills are a must, as is the ability to play devils advocate and make suggestions around tour squad lineups and match day orders.
Once again thank you all for the opportunity and good luck to everyone this season
Cheers Simmo
