26.4 . Gough to Carter : [dropped] Edged and dropped! And OUCH! Nicked to first slip and it's gone straight through his hands and hit him in the jatz crackers! He's gone straight down and the physio runs onto the field with the magic spray. That sure made Samaroo get right back up on his feet!

Great :x

Just the chance that was needed to change the game aswell!

Edit:

29.1 W Aleong to Carter : Floated up outside off stump, Carter is lured into an ugly swipe towards midwicket, but only manages a top edge which dollies up to Lewis at gully.
S. Carter c M. Lewis b. L. Aleong 103 (96b 7x4 5x6) SR:107.29

Still an outside chance now, need the two spinners to finish their last overs cheaply, then maybe Greaves can put on enough pressure from one end for them to cave to my OBB finger spinner.

Was looking for greaves to keep it to about 4-6 to give them double figures off one over, didn't turn out that way though:

End of over 39 (14 runs) - Yankee Cricketers(258-5). 6 runs required from 1 overs. RR 6.62 RRR 6.00
G. Austin 16 (15b) , H. Sellers 0 (0b) , J. Greaves 8-0-40-0
38.6 2 Greaves to Austin : That's come right off the meat of the bat and was so powerful that it went straight through the legs of Gough at cover. That's 2 more to the total.
38.5 1 W Greaves to Coleman : Smart work from the fielder there and Coleman is run out comfortably.
I. Coleman run out (O. Samaroo) 56 (50b 1x4 1x6) SR:112.00

38.4 1 Greaves to Austin : With the field deep, these runs are always easy to get. Nothing Greaves can do really as Austin plays a comfortable shot and makes a comfortable run.
38.3 6 Greaves to Austin : Austin will surely have dreams about that shot tonight. Absolute cracker!
38.2 b4 Greaves to Austin : That's beaten Austin and it's beaten Kingston. 4 byes.

38.1 . Greaves to Austin : [great fielding] Great shot, and a great dive by Ramnath to prevent a run.

Tailender on strike to an OBB, probably gonna lose, which is infuriatingly bad luck twice against this team :(

Edit:

39.4 1 Mahabir to Lopez : Lopez pushes into a gap and they trot through for a single.
39.3 W Mahabir to Sellers : [runout] Sellers won't be happy with his partner after that mixup.
H. Sellers run out (O. Samaroo) 2 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:66.67

39.2 2 Mahabir to Sellers : Full toss on leg stump and Sellers is happy to whip it away to deep midwicket.
39.1 . Mahabir to Sellers : Good line and length from Mahabir. No run.

Three runs from two balls, batsman on strike.

It's down to the final over.

I need 11 off, with 1 wicket in hand.

Tamilian Tigers won by 10 runs

B. D'Mello, A. Kriti are tired.

End of over 40 (maiden) - BaTS(182-10). 11 runs required from 0 overs. RR 4.55 RRR 0.00
M. Roberts 3 (1b) , B. D'Mello 7.2-0-51-1

39.2 W D'Mello to Brus : [runout] Brus turns this around the corner and sets off immediately, but Roberts wants none of it! Maddukuri collects and throws to Maruthi, who breaks the stumps with Brus stranded halfway down the pitch. What on earth were the batsmen thinking there?
K. Brus run out (D. Maddukuri) 4 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR:66.67

Gutted, that puts me 3rd bottom, batting really is an issue this season :(

39.5 . Mahabir to Austin : [great fielding] Cut away by Austin but good fielding at backward point by Simmons prevents any runs being scored.

Three from one, pwease don't give them away :(

Edit:

Match tied, damn i needed a win if i wanted to promote. Could still get there if Almighty warriors do me a favor and beat him.
Suppose i did alright out of it after a disastrous start with both batting and bowling.

Home almighty warriors
Away The Antigua Cricket Academy
Ground almighty warriors CG
League Youth 4.3
Date 21 Jul 10 15:00
Weather (forecast) Cloudy
Pitch (current) Green

Need to win this game to keep 2nd and keep up slim hopes of promotion.
Not looking good for my spinners with those conditions, have to rely on my batsman today :(

Apalling start. Took a chance with an aggressive 3, but was annoyed as Simmons who was defensive went for 0 off 4.

End of over 6 (maiden) - The Antigua Cricket Academy(18-2) RR 3.00
L. Chung 0 (3b) , C. Mauricette 8 (18b) , G. Powell 3-2-1-2

Need Chung to get his first ton at youth level here. Although I'm backing him to throw his wicket away for the usual 3 off 17

Edit:

The drinks cart is now making its way onto the field.

End of over 20 (5 runs) - The Antigua Cricket Academy(67-3) RR 3.35
L. Chung 30 (53b) , O. Samaroo 7 (15b) , C. Barker 6-1-24-0

Was aiming for about 200 but from here, 140-160 would be good.

End of over 16 (6 runs) - The Conch Blowers(74-4). 110 runs required from 24 overs. RR 4.62 RRR 4.58
D. Haines 6 (6b) , C. Draper 17 (39b) , K. Coen 4-0-14-0

Happy with this position, hoping a partnership doesn't develop now, 1 more wicket and I'm in.

16.3 W Brus to Haines : Oh he's been burgled! Haines has left the gate wide open and Brus has cleaned him out! All that's left is leg stump performing its finest impression of Pisa's famous tower!
D. Haines b. K. Brus 6 (8b 1x4 0x6) SR:75.00

19.5 W Corneal to Abdulah : Gone! Abdulah falls to a pull shot. It was short, on middle stump and Abdulah pulls it weakly to square leg where Coen takes the catch.
Z. Abdulah c K. Coen b. C. Corneal 3 (9b 0x4 0x6) SR:33.33

End of over 20 (2 runs) - The Conch Blowers(87-6). 97 runs required from 20 overs. RR 4.35 RRR 4.85

Because the game is zero value for me today as I already promoted, I am playing a 100% reversed order, U18, all 21 buttons are on A and the bowlers are bowling all their bowling spells after each other (spell 1 and 3, spell 2 and 4, spell 5 and 8, spell 6 and 10 and spell 7 and 9, so one not unfortunately).

Must be easily enough to beat the random game FTP! :)

I'm not so bad for you Rob, and my boys aren't either :

End of over 16 (5 runs) - Super Sledgers(77-5). 138 runs required from 24 overs. RR 4.81 RRR 5.75
T. King 1 (3b) , K. Richards 37 (43b) , S. Livingston 8-0-37-0

Marshall picking up 5v37 in 8, well done WI U18 NAT. I should be able to win this.
