Yep cloudy conditions and a strong seam attack meant we went with one wristie and an AR finger spinner, Lakshman gets the nod.

It was a real toss of the coin between Halangoda with OBB and Thirimanne the wristie, hopefully it pays off

Sorry folks came up just short in the final.

Bit disappointed not to collect SL's first senior WC crown - alas it wasn't to be this time.

Dravy, good campaign by SL. You almost had us at the end there. Once the game reaches a certain point the rest comes down to luck. In this case, one more wicket would have exposed our useless number 11, so you probably closer to winning than you thought.

Great game, I really enjoyed it...
