Postby bumpuss » Sat Jul 24, 2010 12:10 am

Result: The Mighty Imps won by 29 runs
Toss: Fartland won the toss and elected to bowl.
Man of the match: William Porterfield (3 points), Steve Tikolo (2), Bill Webber (1)

Nearly 800 runs scored in that match.

Porterflied - 194

I picked the wrong lineup for the conditions, but Tikolo nearly got us there 173*. Peiris 64 of 35 balls..Afridi/Pollard (its amazing that South Amazing had managed to grab these two for the T20 last seasonm, hopefully something similar happens this summer too) like innings.

Bowling Mankad had the lowest econ of 4. :)

Beat Coco Bay by 25 runs.

Never thought id defend 184 on a dry/windy

But Up steps Meherhomji to save the day with figures of - A. Meherhomji 10-3-15-4

Im hoping that will guarentee me safety for another season :)

Result: damaster won by 7 wickets
Toss: damaster won the toss and elected to bowl.
Man of the match: Joseph Brownlow (3 points), John Nicholls (2), Forward Mkwanazi (1)

I've moved to first on the ladder after a strong victory over redball slappers. Brownlow took five wickets and Nicholls scored 60*.

Bolt is no longer leading the fantasy points after two low scores in a row.

fascinating promotion battle in my league

1 The Giants of Surrey 10 8 2 0 32 +0.7476 1699 / 406.2 1714 / 499.1
2 Tom Jones Enthusiasts 10 7 2 1 30 +1.0824 2130 / 454.3 1760 / 488.2
3 Caveman CLubbers 10 7 2 1 30 +0.6978 1997 / 436.5 1862 / 480.4
4 Northern Rocks 10 7 3 0 28 +1.1484 2287 / 442.5 1996 / 497.0

anyone one from 4 could go up. Gone are the days of me being heavy favourites, or having only one competitor to promote straight back up.
