match report -
New Zealand won the toss and elected to field -
Scotland were soon 1 down after Allingham failed to trouble the scorers, but a nice p/ship between Boag (52) and Cunningham (135) saw Scotland to 108 before Boag fell.
Another 2 good P/ships saw Scotland to a total of 287/4 with Cunningham falling in the last over on an impressive score of 135.

New Zealand started well in their innings and were on 60 when their first wicket fell.
With their top order in good form the continued to score at a decent rate threatening to reach Scotland's total with ease, however Scotland fought back taking a steady fall of wickets in the last 10 overs, with Douglas taking 3 wickets amazingly New Zealand needed 11 runs to win off the last over, it came down to the last ball when needing 4 to win, they managed to score 3 runs and therefore tied the match in what was a superb game all round.
How costly though were the 2 run out chances missed by Scotland in that final over.
Man of the match Cunningham for what was a superb 135.

Next week sees the 1st tour for the U/19's, you can follow match reports from here

We lost the toss and had to field, Ireland made a decent 206 in their innings leaving us a tough ask.

In reply, at 98/5 things were looking bleak, but the middle and lower middle order batted their hearts out today to steer us to what looked like an unlikely victory and get the week off to a winning start.

Apologies for a shortend report, been really busy with work and RL events.
Tomorrow we play Netherlands and hopefully we can grab another victory.

Result: Netherlands U19 won by 2 wickets

Another close match, but unfortunately we were on the wrong end of the result losing by 2 wickets, lots of twists and turns still to come this week, so still all to play for.
Boag with his 44 and Chalmers who continues to impress with his 3/32 were our best players today.
Tomorrow we play UAE
