Hi everyone, i am Ragingbull and have been voted in as the new U/19 manager, many thanks to everyone who has backed me with there support, and all i can say is commiserations too the other 2 candidates and with the election now behind us i hope we can all unite for the good of Scotland.
I have asked Robh to stay on as an assistant to which he has kindly agreed, also i have asked hellopllz to join the management team, and with his experience as a former Nat manager and his support of Scotland i feel will be also a good appointment.
The next 2 seasons hopefully 4, will mostly be about finding and bringing through Scottish talent so that in a few seasons time not only us,but the senior side will enjoy the benefits of these players.
Im realistic enough to know we won't be the no1 rated nation at U/19 level after a season or 2, but it's our job to try and stay up near the top, so we will be working hard on the upcoming tours, with a view to be competing in both forms of the world cup.
Throughout the season we will be doing all match reports, posting tour sqauds, listing potential stars, competitions where you can win credits/membership, so hopefully we can attract some support, not only on the Scots forum, but from all areas of ftp.
If you have players in the sqaud or on the fringe, please feel free to ask any questions about your player/players, we will also be contacting managers about training for the future.
Remember keep pulling Scots
cheers
RB
