Shame to hear this, though I understand the frustration :(

With your MR you'll probably win the leagues without trying anyway!

Two wins from two this week and onto the big game on Friday. Hopefully get some pops with the seniors tomorrow.

Morning Chief!

Only pops my seniors will be getting is in the kneecaps :whistle

Unfortunately my lads couldn't get over the line on Friday. Two closely matched teams but they won by 2 wickets in the end.

Started the game yesterday. Need to pull the academies together and get some good blokes from the TM.

I think some part of the conversation is happening on last season’s thread :)

Any way we can merge this one with that?

What a game to be part of today. Absolute cracker!

Dinamo Belfast won by 13 runs

B. Selar (lfm) 10-1-43-3, A. Donahue 11 (14b), C. De Valera 3 (4b)
End of over 50 (4 runs) - All-Star Slogers(275-8). 14 runs required from 0 overs. RR 5.50 RRR 0.00

Really thought we were done for with the start they made and I was really surprised at how well we had batted.

120 from 128 balls from star player Rummans with Knape 42* from 28 to back him up. Selar's death bowling doing the job for us as he finished with 3-43 from his allotted overs in a game where economy rates were not low!

Match ratings were virtually the same, so it's nice to win this game after getting it wrong last week. Chance of survival is definitely there.

19.6 6 Martin to Kerrigan : That has gone very, very high up. The fielder waits underneath it at long on, but it just clears his outstretched hands.
19.5 W Martin to Flynn : [catch] Flynn tries to work the ball through the on side but only succeeds in chipping a simple catch back to the grinning Martin.D. Flynn c & b. E. Martin 82 (35b 6x4 4x6) SR:234.29
19.4 1 Martin to O'Mahony : Bit of flight there, and the turn catches the edge of the bat. Soft hands from O'Mahony and the ball squirts past slip for a single.
19.3 . Martin to O'Mahony : [great fielding] Pitched a bit short, and O'Mahony latches onto it. The ball flies to cover point, where some wonderful fielding by Boyle cuts off a certain boundary. O'Mahony can't believe his misfortune. Probably the best shot of the day.
19.2 W Martin to Antill : Antill goes across the line and misses, Martin appeals his heart out and the umpire just had to give that out. Hitting middle and off no doubt.W. Antill lbw b. E. Martin 99 (55b 9x4 0x6) SR:180.00
19.1 . Martin to Antill : [great fielding] A good diving stop by Dunne at square leg prevents any runs and keeps the pressure on Antill.

Two batsmen missed out on centuries against bot :x

I usually hate when my batsmen get anywhere close to a century against bots. Screws their fatigue for the next few games.

So I always choose to bowl first.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, but I rejoined only a few days ago and have kind of a team that's still beatable even by bots. May be a few weeks later when I TM exercise is complete, I would also adopt these hacks.

Scrappy win over Essex Eagles yesterday ...3 wins in 3 now. Far better start than I’d expected.
