IYT sign up

Cregagh looking good in the big one in group A. Rebel spinners surprisingly lost to make it possible for both to go through.

End of over 26 (15 runs) - The Hurlutown Partnership(119-5). 118 runs required from 14 overs. RR 4.58 RRR 8.43

Hurlutown still needing close to 100 runs to sneak through on NRR

In group B, still in the 1st innings:

End of over 31 (9 runs) - amsterdammer(123-4) RR 3.97
B. Moylan 2 (4b) , A. Ongondo 26 (37b) , E. McDonnell 8-0-31-0

make that 126-5, amsterdammer old boy Regan taking his 3rd wicket of the innings to leave his old teammates in some difficulty.

End of over 10 (5 runs) - Wooden Wonders(49-2). 124 runs required from 30 overs. RR 4.90 RRR 4.13
A. Ramadin 24 (24b) , C. McLoughlin 14 (28b) , A. Heyns 1-0-5-0

Heavy reliance on Ramadin now to get the runs. Only one regonised batsman left although I'm batting to average to 8 and ordinary to 10 so hoping the tail will wag if it needs to

Cregagh winning the group A match handsomely, Hurlutown folding and sliding down to 4th allowing the pongies to qualify for the semis.

In group B it looks like this:
End of over 20 (7 runs) - Wooden Wonders(102-2). 71 runs required from 20 overs. RR 5.10 RRR 3.55
A. Ramadin 50 (57b) , C. McLoughlin 38 (55b) , A. Heyns 6-0-29-0

WW making a reasonable total look easy and if they keep batting like this, there'll be anxious looks at the NRR in the amsterdam camp

Congrats, McNeuk, your side was better on the day (and probably the others too :D ).

Sad that I finish only 4th after being in the lead all the time, but that are the rules.

pretty big total 249, but bowling's not my strong point. O'Mahony who was basically making up the numbers for me got 71 from 61 balls, so its easy scoring apparently.

End of over 11 (9 runs) - Cregagh (64-1). 186 runs required from 29 overs. RR 5.82 RRR 6.41
I. Rangachari 32 (32b) , D. Moran 7 (8b) , R. Smith 2-0-13-0

got to break partnerships or its very gettable.

That is 50 runs for Rangachari (54 runs, 55b 3x4 1x6) SR:98.18
17.5 6 Griffin to Rangachari : That shot from Rangachari made Griffin look like an amateur!
but then
19.2 W Griffin to Rangachari : Griffin strikes! It was outside the off stump, Rangachari a bit lazy with the drive through the off side, gets the edge through to Sands behind the wicket, who takes the catch at a comfortable height.
I. Rangachari c D. Sands b. G. Griffin 55 (60b 3x4 1x6) SR:91.67

End of over 20 (2 runs) - Cregagh (113-2). 137 runs required from 20 overs. RR 5.65 RRR 6.85
B. McCarthy 1 (3b) , D. Moran 32 (31b) , G. Griffin 2-0-12-1

McCarthy comes in just before drinks, I wonder how his D orders will work :think
