Hope so, I'll make sure he is spending a good chunk of time in the gym and getting the protein shakes in :party
He might not have performance amazingly well but considering the ordinary form his lack of ducks is making me happy!

We are through to the Semi Finals. A very good moment for this nation! Let's see if we can ride this further and make the final

Hope.to see you all tuning in!
Yeah it hasn't been the best, but it seems like the bowlers on this tour have really been the heroes, with the batsman just doing enough.

Went through the fantasy points to see how he actually has done (because the batting average stats only go down to top 30, and we don't have a single player in the most runs top 30 which is a crazy achievement given we came 1st in the group), and Salah still sits as the 5th best in terms of fantasy points among the pure batsman, so at least his fielding is on point  . Just been one of those series I guess where the batsman struggle.

Good luck in the finals, hopefully you take it out

We need our batsmen to perform today. We are playing on a flat wicket. So, it's now or never for them. Well, some of them at least.

Those last 5 overs were terrible considering the conditions. Good achievement getting this far anyway!

Just trying to expand his repertoire to keeper as well

Great effort getting the boys to the semis mate, definitely something to be proud of

Morning Boss,

Not sure I have the best resume under the belt (only three seasons in and I've been focusing mainly on Youth Squads) but happy to be of assistance to the great UAE cause if I can be.

What sort of time commitment would you expect from an assistant? (Just not wanting to commit to something I can't actually achieve).

Have your people call my people.

Cheers

Well....

I think it goes without saying, not the result we were hoping for and a bit of a wake up call for the lads. You know what they say though, a weeks a long time in football and a day in FTP is just as long. The lads need to forget about that game and look forward to Australia.

Tour Match #1.
Vs: India
Result: :(
India win by 6 wickets.

The match in a tweet: India break open the UAE top order who succumb to 4/28 after 12 overs.

Man of the match: Amir Alam (UAE)

Great to see Amir show some real heart. He gave it his all today. A gritty 23 in an attempt to salvage some sort of total. Then with the ball 2/20 off 7 overs. Best on Ground in a loss like that shows a lot of character and we’re very proud of how he played today.

Our other performers:
Oohood - a gusty 39 after coming to the crease at the peak of the carnage.

Ultimately India were far too good for us today and that top order collapse really hurt.

A wise old soul once said
“The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it.”
The lads have to learn from today’s match and move forward. This is only one result and there’s still plenty of cricket left this week.

Next mission is Australia. Tune in at 11.30 FTPST tomorrow 8th December.
