Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Two questions, firstly how large of an impact does form have? It always seems to have a massive impact on skill summaries but I'm not sure whether I should be taking it into account much in selection or not? It must have some impact on the game or why have it? Any indication of where/how much it impacts?
Secondly any idea on the considerations on fielding checks especially catches? What makes a catch harder than another. Is it all random based on a fielder's skill/ catch "difficulty" or does it have other components say fatigue, crowd size, weather, division game is played in, quality of opposition batsman, form etc. ?
Any info on either of these would be awesome

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Form certainly does not appear to have a huge effect on performance so I largely ignore it
Fielding/catching is larely down to the fielder and the quality of the players in the match
The better the players ae excluding their fielding the higher level of fielding you need to succeed

Thanks Crowfan
I wondered how in more important games, against tough opposition catches seem to stick less.

Re: Open Forum (Ask GMs)
Yes but I seem to remember a conversation about them choosing bat first to be slightly more likely
