I wish he was an FM rather than just a medium; I've gone off mediums a bit lately.

Well, my USA medium pacer Ayers has just taken 5-12 to make sure of my survival in England SOD 1. His previous best was only 3-40. Medium pacers everywhere: all is forgiven! :party

Well, first off you should wait for someone better at training than me if you want a more informed opinion! But if you want the opinion of someone who generally doesn't know what they are doing then I'd say make him a bowler who can bat a bit. With the talent he's going to be much more of a bowler than a batsman and that's a lot of tech to fix + some fielding for an allrounder (although it is early in the season). Once you give him some more fielding you can always reassess.

I certainly would have preferred him to what I got and he should turn out very nice.

Ta all, I'll throw him on fielding until average anyway if I'm keeping him. Vaguely tempted to sell, might top up my banks a bit for the season, but I do like developing players more usually.. :think
