Match Engine: Part time bowlers
The contribution of 'surplus technique' when determining how economical a bowler is has been reduced. Surplus technique can be defined as the technique skill above and beyond the level of a player's bowling skill.
For example, a bowler with poor bowling and capable technique will be slightly easier to score runs from in version 84. A bowler with ordinary bowling and ordinary technique will remain unaffected, as will a bowler with capable bowling and average technique. Effectively, this change will only be noticeable for bowlers that have a technique skill several levels above their bowling skill.
This change will also have a minor affect on match ratings.
Enhancement: Player tiredness displayed in commentary
Players begin each match with a certain amount of energy. The amount of energy a player begins a match with is affected by fatigue and endurance.
As the match progresses, actions like fielding, keeping, bowling, batting, captaining, drinks breaks and innings breaks affect the amount of energy a player has. When energy drops below a certain threshold, a player becomes tired and his performance begins to suffer. Performance continues to drop as energy is expended until energy drops below a second threshold, where the player becomes exhausted.
The concept of energy has always existed in the match engine, but it has never been reported in the commentary asn subsequently managers have never truly known how tired their players are during a match. As of version 84, player tiredness will be reported in the commentary after every 5 overs and at the end of each innings.
eg. 'Aaron Stewart is tired.'
Initially, player tiredness commentary will be enabled for friendly matches only.

Re: Version 84
Bad news: Version 84 has been delayed by a couple of days.
Better news: We should have a half decent world rankings system in place for Nat teams in version 84.
Estimated deployment date of version 84 is now Wednesday 15th October.
