Version 35
Estimated deployment date: Monday 10-Dec-2007

Included in this version
---------------------------
- The value that technique and power add to overall batting and bowling rating in the match engine has been changed. Previously, for example, an atrocious batter with reasonable technique was roughly equal defensively to an ordinary batter with ordinary technique. This will no longer be the case. A batter with technique several levels higher than his batting skill will no longer receive full value for his additional technique skill when the match engine calculates 'batting rating'. This 'secondary skill capping' has also been applied to 'bowling rating' for bowlers.
Hopefully this change should mean that tailenders (who typically are bowlers and have technique much higher than their batting skill) won't be quite as effective as batsmen.

- Innings consolidation. The match engine has been altered so that teams will try and bat more conservatively if they have lost a few wickets.

- your academy level will have a slightly larger effect on training speeds

- the speed at which batting and bowling skills increase when using the All-rounder training program has been increased slightly.

- the speed at which younger players increase most skills through training has been increased slightly.

- the bonus given to seam bowlers when bowling with the new ball has been reduced slightly. The existing bonus was a little too powerful and was causing a few too many top order collapses.

- All players playing for bot teams will have their form set to ordinary and their fatigue set to moderate.

- Caught and bowled dismissals will now be displayed correctly on the scorecard and in commentary

- The order of columns in the squad pages has been changed

- The prizemoney to be awarded to teams finishing in the top three places in a league has been finalised

I managed to sneak in an extra feature

- Multiple Pitches. Groundsmen can now prepare a different pitch for each league competition your team competes in.
