Prize money compensation for senior nats

Post by sanmath85 » Mon Jun 29, 2020 6:07 pm

I dont really know if this topic has been discussed before but I thought it can be brought here as the end of season is approaching. The prize money that senior nats get is far too little compared to the money give to u20 nat players. On average most of the senior nats who represent the seniors have wages above 20k n they get 30k as prize money (1.5 times) . On the contrary, u20 bats have 5k to 6k as their usual wages and end up getting 15k(2.5 times) as prize money. Running a senior n youth academies at high levels is increasingly becoming financially unviable and most managers end up relying on their touring party to provide them with some financial relief. Increasing the prize money to 40 or 50k would be fair compensation for the managers training senior nats in my opinion.
