E. Perry (rm) 10-0-45-0, D. Swami 17 (26b), K. Maxwell 5 (8b)
End of over 30 (5 runs) - Lower Standards CC(117-5). 140 runs required from 20 overs. RR 3.90 RRR 7.00

3 wickets just before the break turned things in our favour but we still need to finish the job. Diaz has been the star bowler for us whilst young wrist spinner Moses has been respectable.

Thanks. :)

I'm in two minds about what to do now I've got there. I feel I don't have the quality to stay there really but with a bit of luck maybe I'll just about scrape by.

On the other hand, I want to move towards a spin bowling line-up with some of the young spinners I've got. I'd have been a bit worried about relegation in division 2 if I went that route next season and I hadn't got promoted this season. So I might use next season to give my spinners a go and accept relegation.

I guess if I sealed promotion in T20 I could do a bit of both; try to stay up in T20 and play the spinners in SOD. Decisions, decisions!

Well done on almost certainly securing at least a 3rd place finish with an outside chance of 2nd spot. I can't imagine how tough it is going homegrown; it's hard enough doing it the way I do it!

Yes I've been in this spot before with my affiliate side, for about three seasons I played my prospects in league 1(Throwing the season) while playing my full team in league two of the other format, this was great as I managed to promote each season so I could continue the cycle. Then Dave kindly beat me in the last game of the season meaning I finished second in league 2. So I couldn't throw a division two next season as didn't want to send up in league 3.

Cheers ,I really wouldn't manage any other way nowadays, enjoy the challenge too much.

C. Quelch (rfm) 4-0-22-3, W. Mills 1 (1b), C. Ingram 0 (0b)
End of over 12 (7 runs) - Ruff Royals(65-3) RR 5.42

I've chosen a young side again. It wasn't going too badly but we lost a couple of quick wickets in the last over. Uneven pitch but could do with increasing the RR without losing anymore wickets for a while.

E. Machage (lm) 3-0-11-0, T. Ball 2 (3b), W. Mills 39 (25b)
End of over 18 (7 runs) - Ruff Royals(117-5) RR 6.50

A typical Mills performance where he tries to get us into a winning position against all odds and despite only being 17.

End of over 20 (13 runs) - Ruff Royals(139-5) RR 6.95

That's not a terrible score. 44 not out for Mills and 41 for Norris helped us to an okay total.

End of over 7 (4 runs) - Camberwell Carrots(22-3). 118 runs required from 13 overs. RR 3.14 RRR 9.08

Some unusually good bowling from Chudasama puts us in a good position.
