A big defeat. We bowled first on a green pitch and we were doing alright to have them 72-4 but then we couldn't make further inroads until it was too late. Needing 272 we never looking like getting anywhere near that total and were all out for 150.

I'm struggling to see too many positive performances from this one but allrounder Harrison bowled decently with figures of 3-49 so there's that I guess.

I thought we did well enough to keep them to 149 on an even pitch. However, our batting was bad (or Topmen's bowling was great).

Who said wrist spinners were rubbish now? Their's finished with figures of 6 wickets for 11 runs from 3.1 overs.

The collapse had me a little concerned but it turned out that we pretty much had enough runs by that point anyway. My LM, Vaughn, inexplicably seems to keep picking up a lot of wickets and ended with 5-34 here.

We're still top of the league but I don't expect that to continue for much longer.
