We just weren't good enough today in a game we needed to win to have any chance of promotion. It didn't help that I didn't set orders although I would have picked the same players but I would have batted first on this slow pitch. Bowlers struggled to take wickets and there was a costly dropped catch in there too. Chudasama was his usual expensive self and is still going for 8.25 an over.

The batsmen didn't have much chance of getting the 148 they needed to win and could only manage 116 in the 20 overs.

It started of very well when we had them 44-4 on an uneven pitch after we put them into bat. But they had some big overs and managed to get to a very competitive 142 all out.

The batting was going okay at 35-0 after 5 overs but we collapsed to 51-4 largely thanks to a hattrick by van der Westhuizen and we haven't been able to hit the big overs like they did.
