well this is going remarkably well, 143/2 from 33 overs ... even a mad collapse from here should see us getting to a decent total in the conditions.

well the collapse did come, 166-2 to 199/10, but I think it's still a pretty good score on a crumbling pitch. Hope a second ball drop doesn't come back to haunt us!

J. Andersen (rfs) 1-0-1-0, B. Weerasinghe 11 (28b), J. Raimondi 16 (28b)
End of over 9 (2 runs) - Camberwell Carrots(36-0). 207 runs required from 41 overs. RR 4.00 RRR 5.05

242 on an overcast/Crumbling *should* be enough, but the bowlers in this match so far are proving pretty ineffectual. Defeat would probably mean relegation from Div 2, so a lot riding on this.

excellent performance today, won by 78 runs. Johnson and Eze did little in their last match for the club, but Zubic signed off with a bang with 4-23. Will certainly miss all three of them next season, but I feel like there's still a good amount of talent in the side and we're saving over 50K in wages until we get some replacements in.

Safety secured now, but important game next week in terms of prize money, could be the difference between $200K and $70K. Hopefully the experience we've lost won't hurt us too badly.

Was looking dodgy at 109-2 with my Exceptional summary wristie going at >7 an over. Fortunately my finger spinners turned it around and the wristie got to massage his figures by running through the tail. One relegation battle survived, two more to battle through next week.

I feel like I got a few things wrong in this game. I should have batted first on this dry pitch and probably should have done something different with my bowling orders. We allowed them to get too many runs (227) and then my batters were pretty poor (probably because most of them lack a bit of power).

Summary of a nuts week, Youth T20 championship dangling within reach, relegated from senior T20 div1, secured P6 in SOD div1 but then despite rating only 5th in the country on Thursday ..... YOD champs confirmed.

1 Relegation reprobates 13 11 2 0 44 +0.7183 2549 / 503.1 2218 / 510.1
2 Staindrop Village CC 13 9 4 0 36 +0.6366 2554 / 495.4 2325 / 514.5

Apprecaite changes in the game to come but dead chuffed with that against a team that dont really push seniors hence had a big cash advantage.
England youth one day champions S58, S55, S50, S41, S39, S37 and S35.
England youth T20 champions S58.

Ruff Royals won by 8 wickets

A big win which may see us climb a place depending on other results. It was a good bowling performance with all bowlers picking up a couple of wickets. Then Dickerson hit 36 and Alphonso Patterson 46 not out.

Elsewhere, Relegation reprobates are struggling so it looks like they might miss out on top spot. They're either going to need to score a lot of runs in a couple of overs on a slow pitch or they'll need Egham to score the 21 runs from the last over to beat second placed Staindrop Village. It is a hard pitch so it's not entirely impossible.

Just playing for 2nd or 3rd place. We decided to bowl first and it's not going great. Young allrounder Schneider and Whitehead play in place of better players for experience but other than them (and perhaps Clarke for Paton) it's a full strength team.

Poor last couple of overs have left us needing 116 to avoid relegation on a crumbling wicket!!. Think it might be a bit too much given how our batting line up normally perform.

Came back nicely although it's still not an easy target on crumbling.

We seem to be making it look easy at the moment.
