Ffoh won by 16 runs
Ruff Royals Ffoh
Batting - Top Order 5,974 7,730
Batting - Middle Order 7,287 5,908

Bowling - Seam 6,616 (24) 7,339 (24)
Bowling - Spin 8,174 (16) 8,563 (16)
Fielding/Keeping 8,024 8,893
Overall 127,603 132,033
101 from Obuya but we didn't quite score quickly enough. I think that may have ended my promotion chances. Still only 4 points behind but I don't think I'll catch up.

Ruff Royals Sledgingshire
Batting - Top Order 13,870 13,878
Batting - Middle Order 12,943 12,628
Batting - Tail 4,566 5,809

Fielding/Keeping 17,699 17,285
Overall 246,476 246,947
Today, I witnessed something as rare as rocking horse poop! I'm not referring to the Ruff Royals winning but to an actual decent score by my captain Whitehead! 87 runs for a batsman who averages only 26 was a remarkable effort and he will now get a run as an opener in the desperate desire for him to repeat this scoring success on a more regular basis.
We restricted Sledgingshire to 229 on a slow pitch after making them bat first. It was a decent effort by them and I was in no way confident that we would successfully chase it down. The 87 by Whitehead was the highest score for both teams and got us off to a good start before Clarke (44 not out) and Schneider (29 not out) came together at the end. We won with just over 5 overs to spare.
It was a crucial win which sees us 8 points clear of Sledginghire who remain in 7th place. That's still slender lead as they have yet to play their 2nd game against the league's bottom team who look sure to lose all their games.

Not the worst total, but can't see us defending that.

Fielding/Keeping 10,124 8,515
Overall 137,825 134,966
Ruff Royals won by 7 wickets
A crumbling pitch and we put them in to bat. We did a good job with the ball which meant they only had 115 to defend. Fareed was our best bowler with 3-14; all 3 wickets in 1 devastating over. Ames got us off to a fast start but was soon out for 15 but Banerjee was superb and ended up on 57 not out. Delap was also great as he got 39 not out to add to his 2-19 when he bowled.
We're now 8 points clear with 4 games to go.

It was better than what I got in the same conditions. 123-2 to 137 all out didn't help.

I forgot to change my bat decision to bat first on uneven/humid. That might be a big mistake.
