This was always going to end up like this, especially as I sold two of my 20 year olds today. Yes they weren't going to promote to the seniors but were still currently better than the youngsters who replaced them.

Only one of our four quality players performed today, we were never going to win with this being the case!

With 3 overs to go, we needed 16 runs per over and we managed to get 16 runs in each of the first 2 of those overs but the last over we lost Kirk to a run out and that ended any hopes of a remarkable comeback win. Kirk finally out for an amazing 96 from 54 balls; it's a shame our bowlers didn't do better to make his task a bit easier.
