A. Madyarchyk (rm) 4-0-21-0, M. Scholes 58 (53b), S. Vawser 58 (65b)
End of over 20 (4 runs) - wolfberries(121-1) RR 6.05

Happy with this so far, thinking got to be at least 280 in these conditions.
J. wa Ng'ang'a (rm) 8-0-78-1, F. Hills 66 (46b), J. Lord 2 (2b)
End of over 40 (9 runs) - wolfberries(279-7) RR 6.97

Well that's exactly their target.

C. Rush (lm) 8-1-44-0, L. Mosbey 53 (41b), E. Murdoch 113 (108b)
End of over 40 (4 runs) - Sledgingshire(252-4) RR 6.30

This might be too much to successfully chase on a slow pitch.

End of over 20 (14 runs) - Castle Rock CC(112-3). 168 runs required from 20 overs. RR 5.60 RRR 8.40

That last over didn't help but still happy enough.

We nearly threw this away dues to CENSORED poor fielding!

Sledgingshire won by 129 runs

Considering how young a team I picked, I don't think those ratings are too bad.

Unsurprisingly, my best bowler had the best figures for my side; 2-34 for Ball. Another encouraging batting performance from my 17-year-old batter, Mills, who made it to 43 despite the wickets falling all around him.

We are now officially safe from relegation so expect today's team to play some more games between now and the end of the season.

Yeah, I'm not completely convinced I'll keep all of my 16-year-olds but if I don't then I'll probably have an even stronger team. I'm almost tempted to increase my academy level.

A top of the table clash today. It's not the strongest conditions for me although I am intending on switching to a spin line-up in the next couple of seasons. It'll be interesting to see how my young spinners do; I suspect it's a bit too early for them.

I don't think my team has been massively weakened by having to play spinners but the one thing I'm worried about is the lower endurance of my young spinners which could be crucial.

A. Nixon (lws) 1-0-7-1, L. Avila 32 (35b), P. Solomon 6 (3b)
End of over 11 (7 runs) - Ruff Royals(56-1) RR 5.09

Decent start to the batting after we were put in to bat although we've just lost our first wicket in the first over of spin.

End of over 22 (5 runs) - Ruff Royals(97-1) RR 4.41

Avila has finally found some form but can he get a really big score to make up for some of his previous efforts? Not sure what kind of a total I'd like given my young spinners might not be quite as good Relegation Reprobates'.

Happy enough with that so far.

End of over 26 (1 run) - Ruff Royals(119-3) RR 4.58

A wicket just before the break and a wicket just after means that we're in a bit of trouble and need this partnership to be big one if we're to get the points from this game.

We lost our third wicket wicket at 25.3 overs, a pain isn't it!

Losing wickets around the break always happens (or perhaps we just notice it more?). At least we managed to recover a bit.

Q. Sad (rws) 7-0-38-1, B. Kirk 52 (54b), A. Bowers 22 (20b)
End of over 43 (9 runs) - Ruff Royals(231-4) RR 5.37

If we can get another 60 or 70 runs from here then I'll be delighted.
