G. Lewis (lfs) 4-0-21-1, E. McCall 3 (5b), S. Whitehead 2 (2b)
End of over 17 (6 runs) - Ruff Royals(113-4). 28 runs required from 3 overs. RR 6.65 RRR 9.33

Should be an interesting last 3 overs.

We needed 2 runs from the last 2 balls. The penultimate ball we lost a wicket but then managed to get 2 from the final ball.

Ruff Royals won by 3 wickets

Ruff Royals Pedagogs
Batting - Top Order 13,859 13,173
Batting - Middle Order 9,654 12,280
Batting - Tail 3,828 7,411
Bowling - Seam 9,952 (8) 13,830 (8)
Bowling - Spin 14,354 (12) 12,713 (12)
Fielding/Keeping 15,572 16,467
Overall 215,219 239,251

With Sledgingshire beating Snakey's Kent Stars, that means that we finish 2nd and also means that Sledgingshire saved themselves from relegation and that Pedagogs go down.

Bit of recompense after getting an ME screwing last week.

Crestfallen Sidekicks Inchigeela Angels
Batting - Top Order 13,523 13,945
Batting - Middle Order 10,861 10,502
Batting - Tail 5,188 7,178
Bowling - Seam 12,857 (16) 13,986 (12)
Bowling - Spin 14,027 (4) 14,294 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 15,905 13,852
Overall 226,276 231,428

Manage to stay in 3rd place, which will provide a useful bit of prize money.

You saved my bacon there! Thanks for putting out a strong side.
I've been struggling all season after getting screwed over by Grange going bot in the third week.

needed to win the toss today, should be a comfortable win, but an NRR shootout between me and 2nd placed for the title, and unfortunately they're batting first (against a bot) and we're not. need some sort of miracle, but I don't see it happening.

T. McCracken (rm) 8-0-68-2, M. Schmidt 71 (54b), J. Westerveld 0 (0b)
End of over 40 (10 runs) - Ruff Royals(246-6) RR 6.15

I'm very happy with that total on a dry pitch. 90 for Dotson and 71 not out for Schmidt were the best of the batters.

D. Combs (lf) 4-0-27-0, T. Pinch 26 (25b), T. Illingworth 16 (18b)
End of over 8 (10 runs) - Captain Speccy's Muppets(48-1). 199 runs required from 32 overs. RR 6.00 RRR 6.22

We could do with keeping it tighter and getting more wickets.

End of over 23 (11 runs) - Captain Speccy's Muppets(128-1). 119 runs required from 17 overs. RR 5.57 RRR 7.00

We definitely could do with some wickets.

Captain Speccy's Muppets Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 7,630 8,222
Batting - Middle Order 5,710 4,621
Batting - Tail 2,865 3,444
Bowling - Seam 6,802 (24) 8,678 (24)
Bowling - Spin 8,912 (16) 6,034 (16)
Fielding/Keeping 6,605 9,340
Overall 120,001 127,828

Ruff Royals won by 15 runs

Did just enough to get the win. 3-47 for Schneider was the best for our bowlers and I guess that's a nice way to finish off his youth career.

That means we finish in 2nd place which is as much as I could have expected considering the number one team finished with ratings of 150k+.

Another game just for experience.

S. Clouston (rf) 3-1-5-1, C. Dale 11 (18b), R. Wyett 5 (14b)
End of over 6 (4 runs) - Ffoh(24-1) RR 4.00

Dry pitch. We lost the toss and were made to bowl.

I've picked the same team as last week. The big game of the week is Camberwell Carrots v South London's Number One CC although if we lose easily then NRR could be important in the title race.

S. Hodges (rfs) 3-0-25-0, R. Wyett 39 (51b), C. Dale 17 (42b)
End of over 16 (3 runs) - Ffoh(67-1) RR 4.19

We're struggling to take wickets and Hodges is being a bit expensive.

P. Massey (lfs) 4-1-5-0, C. Dale 24 (54b), A. Vethanayagam 1 (8b)
End of over 24 (1 run) - Ffoh(81-3) RR 3.38

Picked up a couple more wickets but we need to keep getting regular wickets. Run rate seems a little bit more under control.

End of over 40 (8 runs) - Ffoh(215-3) RR 5.38

We've been getting smashed after the break; it wasn't going too badly until then.
