Certainly picked a youthful team today, they are doing well enough with the bat so far.
They're doing a bit better than my lot! Similar score but mine are 8 wickets down; I'd not count on mine making it to 150.
My team are pretty fresh too which helps. Hoping they can knock off the runs in good time.

It shouldn't take too long. My veteran bowler for today is 25 with all the others 22 or under. Slow pitch though so might take a bit longer because of that.

Unfortunately lost the last two set batsmen with three overs to go, so only managed six runs from them!

Our oldest bowler today is 24 & 12 weeks, the rest are 22 and younger, Slow pitch as well so hopefully our four medium pacers and finger spinner can at least make them work.

Ruff Royals won by 6 wickets.

Penn CCC Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 8,668 7,782
Batting - Middle Order 6,645 5,135
Batting - Tail 5,423 3,289

Bowling - Spin 8,879 (8) 9,488 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 6,091 8,933
Overall 133,937 124,340

A good win for us and we timed it just right as we won with a ball to spare. Our bowling was okay but we had a couple of very good performances with the bat. Evans hit a half-century to cement his place as an opener; prior to the start of the season he had scored about 100 runs in 10 innings in YT20 but since moving to open the batting he has scored 133 runs in 3 innings. Whitehead also got a half-century from 44 balls.

It's early in the season but we're already 8 points clear of 3rd place.

We were made to bat first on a slow pitch. I was going to bowl but I don't mind batting first on a slow pitch.

57 for Captain Kirk, 44 for Avila and 34 for Bowers saw us to a healthy score on slow. Now for the bowlers to try and make it look like it's not a flat pitch.

Overall 211,877 169,161

Significant ratings difference but I'm happy with the win. We didn't take many wickets but they never really looked like successfully chasing the total we set. Diaz was the star with the ball with figures of 3-15.

It's our first win after 2 ties in the first 2 games. We should be 4 points clear of the relegation zone.

My opponent for some reason went 4 spinners on hard lol. Managed to rest a whole bunch and still win by 50 odd, so very happy with that.
