L. Keizer (lws) 4-0-28-3, J. Lord 1 (1b), D. Ylyett 10 (8b)
End of over 20 (3 runs) - wolfberries(139-8) RR 6.95

Well that is a disappointing total in these conditions!

Still defendable but you're certainly not the favourite.

K. Hunt (rfs) 4-0-26-1, S. Clouston 19 (9b), T. Ball 5 (3b)
End of over 20 (6 runs) - Ruff Royals(98-6) RR 4.90

In these conditions and with the batting line-up that we had, I'm going to class that as a respectable total.

M. Roberson (lf) 1-0-4-1, P. Huizenga 4 (3b), S. Donaldson 0 (0b)
End of over 1 (4 runs) - Staindrop Village CC(4-1). 95 runs required from 19 overs. RR 4.00 RRR 5.00

Good first over too.

Yes certainly a good start for your bowlers.

C. Chudasama (rf) 1-0-11-0, D. Badger 13 (17b), M. Khumalo 7 (6b)
End of over 10 (13 runs) - Staindrop Village CC(57-3). 42 runs required from 10 overs. RR 5.70 RRR 4.20

We're not going to win but I've been pleased with how we've been doing. Chudasama looks like he could be expensive.

Ruff Royals Staindrop Village CC
Batting - Top Order 6,181 7,212
Batting - Middle Order 4,269 6,361
Batting - Tail 3,636 4,674
Bowling - Seam 5,644 (16) 7,379 (12)
Bowling - Spin 8,911 (4) 8,424 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 6,813 8,476
Overall 104,637 132,729

Staindrop Village CC won by 6 wickets.

A decent effort from my players but we dropped a few and couldn't do enough damage to their batting line-up. I should be back to a full strength team next week.

P. Callaway (rfs) 1-0-8-0, E. McGhee 45 (38b), L. Coombes 3 (6b)
End of over 10 (8 runs) - wolfberries(68-3) RR 6.80

Pretty even so far. If we can get out McGhee then things might turn in our favour.

You have your wish, Gregg can bat as well if we lose another wicket but with our attack we will need 140 plus to even have a chance of defending a total.

A. McCutchin (rf) 4-0-19-2, T. Gregg 2 (4b), E. Calder 0 (2b)
End of over 20 (6 runs) - wolfberries(130-8) RR 6.50

Well that isn't enough, even if we had played our two best bowlers . Pretty much surrendered this game before we started.

Left out our two best batsmen and bowlers as you would be too strong for us anyway.

I'd be disappointed if I didn't manage to chase that total. I've left one of my best batters out but he's been pretty rubbish this season anyway so that might even improve my side rather than weaken it.

End of over 8 (7 runs) - Ruff Royals(51-1). 80 runs required from 12 overs. RR 6.38 RRR 6.67

You're coasting to victory now, as expected.

End of over 14 (5 runs) - Ruff Royals(90-2). 41 runs required from 6 overs. RR 6.43 RRR 6.83

Bowers dropped again. We could do with increasing the run rate as I would prefer if we could win before the last over.

Thanks. Another 10 runs and getting Bowers out earlier could have made all the difference.
