67 for Mills, 44 for Norris, and 58 not out for Whitehead sees us to a very useful win. In theory, this means that we should be in the mix for promotion. However, I suspect my bowling will remain pretty toothless throughout the season so I can't see us being consistent enough to take top spot.

Well, I'm calling for my players to be drug tested after the game as at the moment I can't see any other reason for my players to have done so brilliantly.

On a flat pitch, they reduced Inchigeela Angels to 16-4 and depite a spirited comeback eventually dismissed them for 177. Diaz starred with 6-30.

Then we had a 112 run opening partnership. Although we have lost 2 wickets now, it's looking like we'll finish the game with plenty of overs to spare.

The only disappointment is that Brown ends the match on 99 not out and didn't quite make a deserved ton.

was always going to be a tough match, and our young bats struggled against a strong opposition bowling attack. Result: lost by 7 wickets. Highlights of the game a hard fought 30 (65) from our 21 y/o captain as top scorer, following on from his unbeaten 50 in the T20, and overall not a bad performance with the ball. Could make a case that 4 of this side wouldn't be first choice usually, but how much can we improve in the ratings maybe could get to 215K or so. Gonna be a right uphill battle, but hey, we're gaining experience all the time and I'm excited to see how the team develops in the next couple of seasons.
