Ruff Royals won by 190 runs

Combs' 4-21 was the best of our bowlers but it was the huge total that won us the game. I'm looking forward to seeing how big a boost that is to the net run rate.

Only made 218 batting first. Opening partnership of 143 at over the required rate made it look like another ME screwing was incoming, but ended up taking the required 10 wickets for only 62 more.

loss the toss and put into bat on humid/uneven. Batted really well to get to 280/7 in our 50, Whitworth impressing with 84, along with Kouyate (as per usual) who hit an unbeaten 87. In reply opps never looked like getting close, and were skittled for 131, only opener Brayshaw putting up decent resistance. Result - won by 149 runs.

Thought we were favourites for today with our two (admittedly inexperienced) fast bowlers vs their two spinners, but I wasn't expecting us to win by quite such a large margin.

three wins in a row now, and puts us 8 points clear of the bottom 4. one more win and I think we're safe, but don't want to celebrate just yet!

The bowling was poor on a dry pitch with my wrist spinner going for 48 and not picking up a wicket. Then one of my best batters got out first ball of the innings. In the end, we did well to get so close. 67 for Marwat and 57 for Galindo. Foot also picked up a respectable 30 not out.

We're still top but only on net run rate and only 8 points clear of the relegation zone.
