Not sure about the five missed chances but a win is still a win, especially against a tough opponent like todays.

Staindrop Village CC won by 8 runs.

Such a good start to the innings when we were 126-0 but then the collapse came and the RRR became to high. We finished on 195-8.

We had the 2nd highest ratings of the league so perhaps this was an early title decider. I would have much prefered to play them later on in the season although their squad depth doesn't look too bad so it might not have mattered anyway.
