away at Batheloner on slow/windy, lost the toss and having a bat. struggling a little at 79/3 after 20, scoring rate is decent but need to make sure we don't lose too many more wickets!

A brilliant 147 run 4th wicket partnership has put us in a strong position, with 290/5 in our 50. More than happy with that on a slow pitch.

End of over 50 (1 run) - Pedagogs(144-10) RR 2.88

I'm happy with the bowling performance although the last wicket partnership was a bit bigger than I had wanted it to be. Hodges was the best of the bowlers with an impressive 4-16 and Moses also contributed nicely with 3-30.

Ruff Royals won by 7 wickets

Ruff Royals Pedagogs
Batting - Top Order 13,323 8,892
Batting - Middle Order 12,165 7,495
Batting - Tail 4,604 5,333
Bowling - Seam 12,596 (20) 10,215 (30)
Bowling - Spin 12,812 (30) 8,772 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 16,646 11,189
Overall 229,336 163,307

I wasn't expecting such a big win but then I wasn't expecting Pedagogs to play a weakened team. After losing last week, it's looking like a good week for me this time and my lead should go back to being 6 points.

57 not out for Avila and 35 not out for Bowers saw us to victory.

Ruff Royals won by 62 runs

C.C.DeVille CCC Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 6,009 6,865
Batting - Middle Order 4,921 6,065
Batting - Tail 4,407 3,188
Bowling - Seam 6,496 (12) 7,334 (20)
Bowling - Spin 6,013 (8) 0 (0)
Fielding/Keeping 7,019 8,478
Overall 109,519 123,392

Very happy with that win.

Dotson and Mills got us off to a great start with the bat on a crumbling pitch whilst Norris helped out later on. Schneider added some polish with a 6 ball 18 not out as we set them a formidable total of 158.

We ended up bowling them out for 96 with Vaughn getting the best figures of 3 wickets for 8 runs and Rush taking 3 wickets for 10 runs.

This victory means we are safe unless there's a miracle for C.C.DeVille CCC as we are 16 points clear. I think 8 points off top spot is too far away to realistically catch with just 4 games remaining (and a NRR disadvantage). So it's likely I can start preparing for next season and jettison or drop anyone who's not going to be around for the start of next season whilst giving some experience to those who need it.

After having our opponents 9 for 4, I didn't expect to lose by 6 wickets
