H. Dowsley (lfs) 2-1-3-0, L. Avila 14 (10b), J. Bass 3 (8b)
End of over 23 (maiden) - Ruff Royals(108-3). 115 runs required from 27 overs. RR 4.70 RRR 4.26

We've lost some important wickets which is going to make it tougher. RRR is still okay at the moment.

South London's Number One CC v Inchigeela Angels >> Match Ratings
Match Ratings
South London's Number One CC Inchigeela Angels
Batting - Top Order 12,786 14,008
Batting - Middle Order 10,936 9,976
Batting - Tail 5,335 5,061
Bowling - Seam 13,196 (40) 13,044 (30)
Bowling - Spin 12,881 (10) 14,856 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 15,878 15,971
Overall 224,196 227,879

result: Won by 71 runs. Got thumped by this opp in the reverse fixture, so pleased to get my revenge! My boundary hitter really made the difference today, 96 on uneven/overcast is always likely to be a match winning innings. Also got to mention my fast bowler Zubic who came in to the side in place of all-rounder Ayew in light of the pitch conditions - and picked up three crucial wickets, with 7-1-16-3.

Another tough game against champions elect Ruff Royals next week, the reverse fixture was a tight game which we narrowly lost, let's hope for another good game next week!

Unfortunately, wolfberries didn't get the win so we remain only 6 points ahead with 4 games to go and a tough game next week.

Brown top scored for us with 40 but everyone else got into double figures (except Perry who was 9 not out).

Well that's 20 less than we should have got but you can't lose 7 for 18 from the last 4 overs!

Ruff Royals won by 6 wickets

All Action Rejects Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 6,367 6,344
Batting - Middle Order 5,552 5,974
Batting - Tail 2,992 3,898
Bowling - Seam 6,055 (16) 6,460 (16)
Bowling - Spin 6,817 (4) 4,238 (4)
Fielding/Keeping 7,407 7,977
Overall 109,911 114,975

A good performance from my team. Only two 20-year-old players in my team so they'll be available for most of next season. There was nothing too special about the bowling performance although Rush was very economical and took 1-13. Gera's batting was key as he scored 48 from 45 balls.

I move up to 2nd place but still 8 points behind top spot who I have no expectations of catching.

Not the best bowling performance from us as we just couldn't take enough wickets. We started off okay with the bat but we're struggling now and can't really afford to lose any wickets until maybe the last couple of overs.

Grange XI won by 47 runs

Grange XI Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 13,990 14,013
Batting - Middle Order 9,122 10,094
Batting - Tail 5,825 3,488

Fielding/Keeping 16,982 16,303
Overall 230,538 218,560

Our bowling was totally outclassed today and gave our batsmen a tough task which they weren't capable of completing. Thankfully, we remain 8 points clear of the drop zone with 3 games to go but I definitely think we need to win another senior T20 game before the end of the season.
