Ruff Royals won by 6 wickets
Ruff Royals South London's Number One CC
Batting - Top Order 14,166 12,647
Batting - Middle Order 11,638 11,584
Batting - Tail 4,564 6,890
Bowling - Seam 12,298 (20) 13,485 (30)
Bowling - Spin 12,795 (30) 13,297 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 16,416 16,092
Overall 229,138 232,924
A great innings by Brown who finished on 106 not out. Avila was out for 55. Brown's on some average this season; it's 78.57 in the league.
Today couldn't have gone much better with gRhyllidae coming back to win their game against Bathaloner which means I'm 10 points clear with 3 games to go.

Good game. If you'd have got Brown out or Avila earlier then I don't think we'd have chased 226.

An excellent game and with the closeness of the ratings, a tie seems very apt. Although I do get CENSORED off with not being about to defend big totals from the last over, all the while struggling to chase them! It really is getting on my tits
Great game though

I thought 11 an over for the last 4 overs was going to be very dificult but once we got to the last over I thought we might do it. Then Schneider (capable batting summary) got out first ball of that over and I thought I was done for. House (average batting summary) can hold a bat so he restored some hope for a couple of balls but Bruce is only ordinary summary so I wasn't expecting a 4 off the last ball. It certainly made up for his poor bowling, particularly against Lawrence (who was excellent), although I was expecting Bruce to do badly with the ball.

We very much needed that win but probably still need another win. Even though Pedagogs are 8 points behind they play Relegation reprobates next week and if they win that then they play us in the final game. I don't fancy our chances next week against top side Nottm Outlaws so I'll be cheering on Monsieurflibble's men to do both our teams a favour.
Avila was the star after we were put into bat on a slow pitch. He hit 73 not out from 51 balls while Paton added 47 not out from 26 balls. Diaz was the best of our bowlers with 3-22.
