It was close but we did just enough. 100 runs from Reed didn't help them to the win. Bruce was the best of their bowlers with 3-37.

Not much NRR damage limitation went on. We actually rated higher than they did too. Skillwise my opening bowlers were probably my worst bowlers which probably didn't help.

excellent performance today, our BH was the star of the show with the bat, getting an unbeaten 78 to propel us to an above par 261/5 on dry/humid. In response opps got off to a flyer and needing just 99 from 17 overs with 7 wickets in hand I was getting worried, but fortunately Gootjes stepped up with a 5fer to seal the win. Pleased to get off the mark in what looks like a very competitive division!
