Re: England League and Cup Discussion
I've gone for a crumbling pitch this season with my youths; we'll see how that goes. I don't think I've played on a crumbling pitch on a regular basis, especially for T20.
We've looked good when Roberson and Ball are bowling (and Massey's been okay). I'm not sure how our batters are going to do.
P. Massey (lfs) 3.4-0-20-2, T. Hope 5 (6b)
End of over 19 (5 runs) - C.C.DeVille CCC(92-10) RR 4.84
I think I'd have taken that at the start.

A. Hartman (rm) 2-0-12-0, I. Santos 23 (20b), E. McCall 34 (28b)
End of over 8 (9 runs) - Ruff Royals(59-0). 34 runs required from 12 overs. RR 7.38 RRR 2.83
I think we might win too; I wasn't expecting it to be this comfortable. That said, I can't remember what I was expecting them to rate.

I didn't expect to win without losing a wicket so that's nice.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
away in overcast/sticky in our first match back in div 2 T20 for quite a while, lost the toss and having a bat. slightly rotational team as needed in the early parts of the campaign, but let's see how we do!

Home today in Crumbling and Overcast conditions.
Lost the toss and batting first which would have been my choice as well.
Currently 69 for 4 from 11 overs.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
big time reality check here, 60-5 off 12 ... have to hope we somehow make it to 100 and then our bowlers have a blinder, but realistically I think this is match over already
