Ruff Royals won by 19 runs

C.C.DeVille CCC Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 6,610 7,047
Batting - Middle Order 5,851 6,308
Batting - Tail 4,562 4,087
Bowling - Seam 7,671 (16) 6,660 (32)
Bowling - Spin 6,555 (24) 4,780 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 8,000 8,675
Overall 122,536 123,133

That maintains a 3rd place finish. Decent enough ratings although the bowler ratings when compared to C.C. Deville suggests that we might struggle again in that department next season.

Finishing 5th spot in league one with that final team is something to be happy with.

Can't relegate or win any prizemoney so picked a younger squad, just don't want to drop down the rankings too much.

We were all out for 140 on a slow pitch so my youngsters didn't put on the best performance but they're doing okay with the ball considering they've not got much of a chance to defend that low a total.

a professional performance to finish off the season in 2nd place, winning by 183 against a young wolfberries side. Congrats to Spark on deservedly winning the league and good luck in Div 1 next season.

Very happy to get 2nd, thought we'd be in an around the relegation picture, and we've massively exceeded those expectations. I don't see us making too many additions if any to the senior squad in pre-season as my main focus is getting the youth academy up to excellent or superior which will obviously take a fair bit of investment. Let's see how we do next season :) :)

J. Westerveld (rfs) 4-0-52-0, J. Menza 3 (3b), J. Minchin 100 (53b)
End of over 20 (6 runs) - Egham Town CC(183-4) RR 9.15

Dry pitch so it doesn't look like Westerveld is quite ready for youth games; I'd have been better of going with another medium pacer.

C. Patterson (rfs) 1-0-10-1, A. Dotson 24 (16b), N. Gera 1 (2b)
End of over 5 (10 runs) - Ruff Royals(41-1). 143 runs required from 15 overs. RR 8.20 RRR 9.53

Looks like we're going to start the season off with a loss as we're not going to chase 183.

Would be upset if we can't defend this total.

Yeah Minchin made use of his 2nd life on 62, going on to score 100* from 53 balls. Probably made the difference in a tight game

Look forward to the return fixture despite the fact it'll be on a seaming deck
