Opponents reached 195ao, far more than I had hoped to chase.

Fingers crossed.

P. Callaway (rfs) 1-0-6-0, H. Stapleton-Cotton 29 (41b), G. McCarthy 7 (9b)
End of over 13 (8 runs) - Gavs Boys(64-3). 177 runs required from 37 overs. RR 4.92 RRR 4.78

Good start with 3 wickets but now we either need to take more or really slow the run rate.

Currently 88 for 2 from 17.1 overs. Others results in the league are looking good as well.

A. Diaz (rfm) 8-0-35-2, H. Tunks 46 (74b), J. Anderson 3 (5b)
End of over 41 (2 runs) - Gavs Boys(182-7). 59 runs required from 9 overs. RR 4.44 RRR 6.56

We can't afford to have Tunks farming the strike too much. We need to get these last three wickets out.

Ruff Royals won by 28 runs.

Ruff Royals Gavs Boys
Batting - Top Order 13,599 12,728
Batting - Middle Order 10,821 11,268
Batting - Tail 4,472 5,179
Bowling - Seam 12,521 (30) 12,225 (40)
Bowling - Spin 13,297 (20) 12,974 (10)
Fielding/Keeping 16,766 15,615
Overall 225,552 220,238

A win set up by the fantastice 142 not out from Brown. 4 wickets for Moses was also crucial.

It's pretty much a straight shootout between my side and Gavs Boys for the final relegation spot. I'm only 2 points behind now but with only 2 games to go it might be difficult to catch up. I can't see Ruff Royals beating Topmen unless they don't need to win and even then it will be tough.

Danger Hotspurs up next and they'll probably have a slight ratings advantage so it'll be tough.

TTS Galacticos CC wolfberries
Batting - Top Order 11,399 12,534
Batting - Middle Order 8,301 12,145
Batting - Tail 4,973 5,261
Bowling - Seam 10,725 (40) 12,944 (20)
Bowling - Spin 11,582 (10) 12,440 (30)
Fielding/Keeping 13,279 15,432
Overall 188,044 224,000

Result: wolfberries won by 5 wickets

Still top by NRR after today's win, I think with those ratings we need to be in division two.

Definitely division 2 and possibly a relegation battle in division 1 with those ratings.

19 runs from the first two overs of spin, not sure they quite understand a crumbling pitch :doh

Slow pitch and we decided to bowl first in an important game.

C. Rush (lm) 4-0-20-1, R. Fisher 30 (25b), T. Ghosh 6 (6b)
End of over 15 (6 runs) - The Middle Stump Lubricators(82-4) RR 5.47

It's pretty even at the moment but I'm a bit worried about Chudasama as he's got two overs left and he was expenisive in these conditions in his first two overs.

R. Salvana (rfm) 4-0-22-2, K. Hunt 16 (8b), J. de Reuck 4 (7b)
End of over 20 (2 runs) - Staindrop Village CC(117-6) RR 5.85

50/50 I would say in these conditions...

C. Chudasama (rf) 4-0-35-0, R. Fisher 48 (40b), A. Gordon 7 (12b)
End of over 20 (11 runs) - The Middle Stump Lubricators(107-5) RR 5.35

Chudasama was a bit expensive for slow conditions but I'd still say this was a pretty good team bowling effort. Even moreso after the first over of our innings.

A. Gordon (rfm) 1-0-16-0, A. Evans 2 (2b), W. Mills 13 (5b)
End of over 1 (16 runs) - Ruff Royals(16-0). 92 runs required from 19 overs. RR 16.00 RRR 4.84

Edit: Looks like Gordon is not a bowler so something must have gone wrong with their orders.

B. Browne (rfs) 2-0-7-0, S. Whitehead 1 (3b), W. Mills 28 (22b)
End of over 8 (3 runs) - Ruff Royals(53-2). 55 runs required from 12 overs. RR 6.62 RRR 4.58

We've slowed down a bit and lost a couple of wickets so we need to start scoring quicker again.

K. Hunt (rfs) 3-0-12-3, D. Reeler 17 (23b), L. Lawrence 4 (5b)
End of over 11 (4 runs) - wolfberries(49-4). 69 runs required from 9 overs. RR 4.45 RRR 7.67

Looks like 85/15 against a win for us now...
