A comfortable win for us after some good bowling from us. Chudasama got his best figures of 6-19 and Schneider only went for 15 runs from his 4 overs. The batting was also good with 51 not out for Mills and 55 not out for Whitehead.

Should be a one-wicket win next week!

Our young all rounder got hammered but not the worst score to chase.

into the 4th round of the MKMC fatigue was suffering quite bad, so chucked the game today. never like to do it, but even if I'd played a full team I think we'd have been second favourites, so seemed sensible just to give the whole first team squad a rest going into friday's game against Spark's lot 8) 8)

End of over 20 (5 runs) - Grange XI(128-9) RR 6.40

Mixed bowling from my side at the halfway point. Massey ends up with 4-19 which is impressive.

I'd make us slight favourites to chase this.

End of over 7 (maiden) - Ruff Royals(34-3). 95 runs required from 13 overs. RR 4.86 RRR 7.31

Terrible start from us and now they're strong favourites as we've not got a massive amount of batting left. These two will have to get most of the runs.

I probably shouldn't have decided to bat first on a crumbling pitch.

M. wa Irungu (lf) 7-0-28-1, R. Norris 28 (72b), N. Gera 12 (19b)
End of over 29 (6 runs) - Ruff Royals(94-3) RR 3.24

We're really struggling with the run rate and we're lucky that we haven't lost more wickets. I'm not sure if a 72 ball 28 not out is a good thing or a bad thing.

Norris was slow to start with but really picked up in the last 10 overs or so and ended with a very useful 62 not out from 105 balls.

W. Shahanah (rfs) 8-0-36-1, R. Norris 62 (105b), R. Schneider 6 (5b)
End of over 40 (8 runs) - Ruff Royals(164-6) RR 4.10

It's not a massive total but we might still have a chance if the pitch continues to be difficult to bat on.

C. Chudasama (rf) 2-0-15-0, P. Musalia 31 (38b), I. Mwai 8 (11b)
End of over 12 (7 runs) - Danger Hotspurs(55-1). 110 runs required from 28 overs. RR 4.58 RRR 3.93

We got one wicket but apart from that it's turned into a pretty flat pitch. We need them to collapse.

S. Clouston (rf) 7-0-23-1, I. Mwai 28 (47b), P. Musalia 55 (80b)
End of over 25 (1 run) - Danger Hotspurs(102-1). 63 runs required from 15 overs. RR 4.08 RRR 4.20

Not good. We need a wicket which then triggers a major collapse but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
