That will be it then, unless his fielding is up to reliable he won't be selected.

I train my players to make the England squad if good enough, we all have different priorities I suppose.

i think you need to be flexible. In u19s I had a scoring system that included fielding. there was always the odd star that expectations were made.

the ratings are very important measure
Grove will certainly be good enough to make the England squad soon, will you be training his fielding though?

What on earth has happened to England U20's?

Are the players available really bad?

Have the weaker teams caught up?

The last few world cups have been awful and they now sit at the bottom of div 3 having taken some right beatings this week.

Something is not right.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, but I've had laptop issues!

Yes, we certainly are in a real pickle currently, and I'm afraid it's basically down to poor squads! If you look at the recent tours and WC's match ratings, you will see that we are easily being out rated by the majority of teams. We've really struggled for quality all rounders as well, this has certainly hurt.

Even this tour coming up starting on Monday, we are struggling for seam bowlers! fingers crossed we can sneak enough points to avoid relegation.
