2nd match of the WC was against Bermuda.

We lost the toss, and were sent in to bat first in Overcast/Sticky conditions.

Our batsmen never really got going, and some disciplined Bermudan bowling restricted us to just 125.
Ilyas Khanum top scored with 26.

Our bowlers did put up a fight, but we did not set up a good target, so they just chipped away at it until they got there for a comfortable 5 wicket win.
Junaid Jamshed picked up 2 wickets, but he was expensive, so Shaheer Akhtar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 8-1-22-1, and also our Player of the Day.

3rd match of the WC was against Kenya.

We won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The bowlers gave us a great start in Overcast/Sticky conditions, and kept things really tight. throughout the innings.
The Kenyan batsmen could never get going, and were all out for just 88.
All the bowlers performed well, but Misbah Burfat stole the show with a match winning 6 wicket haul, as a result of which he is also our Player of the Day.
Sarfraz Waqas was also a standout bowler with figures of 5-2-4-2.

Our first 3 wickets fell cheaply as well, but then Amjad Sabri (28*) and Haroon Jabbar (30*) shared an unbeaten 53 run partnership to guide us home to a 7 wicket win.

We are currently 2nd with 8 points, with the qualification race still wide open after 3 matches.

Next up are arch-rivals India in Overcast/Green conditions.

4th match of the WC was against India.

India won the toss and chose to bat first.

Our bowlers were very disciplined, keeping their RR within 4, but we could not take all 10 wickets, as a result of which India finished on 208/8 thanks to some fireworks from their number 8, who finished unbeaten on 45 from just 48 balls.
Pick of the bowlers was Misbah Burfat with figures of 10-0-32-4.

In the chase, our openers provided us an excellent start with a 99 run partnership.
At 186/4, we were looking really good, but then we suffered the usual Pakistani collapse, which saw us fall short by just 2 runs.
Galileo Galilei scored 59 runs which gave us a good start.

Player of the Day was Misbah Burfat for his bowling.

We are now in 3rd place on 8 points, with qualification to semis still in our hands.

We need to win tomorrow against South Africa, and hope that either Kenya or Bermuda lose.

Match will be played on Crumbling/Overcast.

Last match of the group stage was against South Africa.

With 2 wins out of 4, we were still in the race for qualification to the semis, with us needing a win, and either Kenya or Bermuda losing.
Bermuda ended up winning their match, while Kenya lost, but unfortunately we could not take advantage of this.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first in Overcast/Crumbling conditions.
Our bowlers started well, but a 4th wicket partnership of 58 runs helped them get to 177, which proved to be a very competitive total.
Sarfraz Waqas was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 9.1-0-27-4 which also gets him the Player of the Day.

Once again our chase got off to a good start, with the openers putting on 44 runs for the first wicket.
We then lost 4 quick wickets to slip from 90/1 to 100/5, and then Shah Saeed and Ilyas Khanum tried to rebuild the innings, but ultimately failed, as we then collapsed from 134/5 to 161 all out.
Ammar Cheema top scored with 36, and Ilyas Khanum was the 2nd best with 35 runs.

We ended up in 3rd place in the group, which unfortunately means that we failed to qualify for the semi-final.

We had good bowlers but not good batsman and all rounders that puts us under pressure.... too much talk to the batsman to behave differently caused of their abnormal behavior. We are good enough to beat India and South Africa but we fail to do. :(

Thank you everyone for the support shown in the current management team, and for allowing us to continue on for another 2 seasons.

These 2 seasons will be a little different, as we will be making sure that the assistants are ready to take over the job in 2 seasons time.

I am also looking for a 3rd assistant, and everyone is welcome to apply.

To apply, just send a mail either here, or in-game with the following information:

1: How long have you been playing the game?
2: Do you have any previous NAT or U20 experience?
3: Why do you want the job?

First match of the tour was against Canada on Hard/Cloudy conditions.

We won the toss and put Canada in to bat, which the Canadian batsmen loved as they smashed our bowlers to all parts of the ground.
They got an excellent start, racing to 70 runs in the 10th over, and their middle order picked up the baton from there, getting the team to 363/3.
Shaheer Akhtar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 10-0-52-1

Canadian bowlers then picked up where their batsmen had left off, reducing us to 37/3 early on, before our middle order tried to take us to a respectable total.
With Shah Saeed scoring 63 and AR Shaheer Akhtar scoring 82, we managed to squeeze our way to 243 all out.
Player of the Day for us was Shaheer Akhtar for his all-round performance.
