14th March 2020

A friendly T20 Game is organized against Sri Lanka on Slow & Humid pitch

Sri Lanka Won the toss & elected to bowl first

Pakistan had a good and steady start where every one contributed but pick of the batsman is Ammar Cheema with 48 of 33 balls. Pakistan scored 161 for 5 which looks really good on slowish pitch.

As Sri Lanka started his inning Pakistan got the breakthrough but couldn't capitalize it, Lankans had good partnerships as Pakistani bowlers not getting the wickets on regular intervals.

Sri Lanka won the match on last ball of the 20th over with 5 wickets still in hand.

Friendly Game
Opponent: UAE
9/5/2020
Pitch: Sticky
Weather: Sunny

UAE won the toss and elected to bowl. Pakistan had a pretty good start with both the openers looks in good form. After loosing Cheema in 9th over at 57 its a typical Pakistani collapse as we saw in 99 world cup final. No one scores except Jilani who scored 36 and gave a resisting total of 163 to UAE to chase.

While bowling Pakistan took 2 good early wicket just on 29 in 9th over but after that UAE got good partnerships and it looks like they are going to win this match and then Adnan took 2 wickets to give a hope but UAE cross the line after loosing just 6 wickets.

Pick of the bowler: Imranullah Adnan with 2 for 19 & Habib Jillani with 3 for 16.

First match in ODI Division 1, and it was a close fought win.

We won the toss and elected to bowl first in Crumbling/Humid conditions.

The bowlers made a good start, picking up regular wickets but they had a partnership of 69 runs for the 7th wicket.
In spite of that we managed to bowl them out for 182, Muslim Rauf being the pick of the bowlers with figures of 8.2-1-40-3.

Openers provided a solid platform, and we were in a good position at 149/3, before we suffered a collapse to 169/7.
Imranullah Adnan managed to finally get us home along with the tailenders.
Pick of the batsmen were Shah Saeed, who scored 50, and Ajmal Shakir who scored 47.

Player of the Day is Imranullah Adnan for his all-round performance.
He bowled economically, getting figures of 10-1-33-2, and scoring an unbeaten 24 to guide us home in a tense chase.

The match ratings also show that it was a very close game.

2nd match vs the Netherlands

This time Netherlands won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The batting performance was not really great, as the team collapsed for 136 all out, aided by some excellent Dutch bowling, and a mistake that I made in batting aggression settings.
Hasnain Ismail our FM bowler was the top scorer with 24 not out from just 23 balls, next best score was 21 from Aamer Munaf.

In reply, their openers provided them a solid start, but our bowlers came back wonderfully, picking up regular wickets to derail their chase.
Another very fought match like yesterday, and this time our bowlers held their nerve and provided us a narrow 9 run victory.
Hasnain Ismail starred with the ball as well, his figures of 9.5-0-22-3 along with his batting performance making him our Player of the Day.
Sarfraz Waqas was our other bowler who was outstanding, his figures of 8-1-19-3 meaning he kept things tight from his end as well as picking up some wickets.

3rd match of the tour.

After 2 close win, it looked like we were due for a loss, and so it happened today.

Winning the toss and batting first, their batsmen got some starts, but none of them could carry on, and they were all out for 181.
Imranullah Adnan and Tasawar Raja were the pick of the bowlers, picking up 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

Our batsmen could not get any partnerships going, and only 4 of our batsmen managed to get to double figures.
Ilyas Khanum top scored with 31, but no one else could really support him, and we lost by 60 runs.

4th match of tour.

We rebounded well today after losing yesterday.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Their openers gave them a flying start, getting them past 50 within 10 overs in Sticky/Hot conditions.
Our bowlers then struck back with some key wickets, before they managed another 50+ partnership for the 5th wicket.
Our bowlers then again came back just when it looked like they might reach 200, to dismiss them for 194.
Pick of the bowlers was Tasleem Agha for his figures of 10-0-28-4.

In reply, we lost 2 early wickets, but Haroon Jabbar and Shah Saeed managed to grind out a 75 run partnership for the 3rd wicket.
Then the rising RRR caused us to lose 3 more wickets, before our last recognized batting pair managed to carry us home.
AR Shaheer Akhtar and veteran Ajmal Shakir both managed to score at a strike rate of 100+, and ended up unbeaten on 44 and 26 respectively, giving us a key 5 wicket win.
Best performing batsmen were Shaheer Akhtar as mentioned above, and Shah Saeed for his 49 which kept us in the chase after losing 2 early wickets.

Player of the Day is shared between Tasleem Agha for his bowling, and Shaheer Akhtar for saving the game with the bat, and he also got a wicket and a catch.

This win takes us to joint 1st place on NRR, there are 3 teams on 12 points each, and we have the lowest NRR so we are 3rd in the table.
