We won the toss and choose to bowl first in game # 3 against South Africa on crumbling pitch while the weather is sunny.

We had a pretty good bowling as their only 2 batsman got double figure scores. All the bowlers took wickets and curtailed them to 69 runs. Abubakar took 3 for 17, Burfet, Estijab and Rauf shared 2 each.

Waqas had a golden duck to scare then we had a partnership of 30 runs followed by a collapse, we were badly placed on 4/35. The rest is done well by Estijab and Khanum scoring 14 & 28 respectively.

Pick of the day is Khanum for his 28 runs in a low scoring match and having 3 catches behind the stumps.

4th game against Netherlands who won the toss and elected to bat on uneven pitch.

Netherlands bat really well with the help of L. van Amsterdam's 87 they put 219/9 on the board.

While in chase Pakistan never looked comfortable on any point and they lost their 10 wickets for just 96.

Not a great performance by Pakistan but still Man of the match goes to T. Agha for his figures 10.1.27.2.

Played a friendly against Australia where we gave an opportunity to our younger players, among whom were debutants keeper Imad Younis, batsman Qamar Gul, and bowler Shuja Ul-Ghani.

Our openers started well with a 50 run partnership but the middle and lower order could not build on this and we were all out for 192.
Shuja Ul-Ghani bowled his heart out for the team on his debut and even picked up the MOTM award for his figures of 10-0-44-4 but unfortunately Australia sneaked home by 1 wicket.

Played a friendly against West Indies with close to our best U29 XI.

Amazingly the match ended in a tie and it was a real low scoring thriller as 153 was the magic number for both sides.

Their opener Richard Hibbert top scored with 81 and our opener Ammar Cheema was also our top scorer with 78.
A total of 6 players combined from both teams scored in double figures.

Played a friendly against Netherlands on sticky pitch.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat.

With steady 50 runs opening start followed by 86 runs inning form Junaid Hassan put us in a comfortable position as we were placed 4 for 199 and then the sticky trick comes out and we slipped to 10 for 210.

As to batting we start bowling well and Netherlands never looks comfortable on any stage except 56 by L. van Eijsinga. Pick of the bowler is Randy Marsh with the figures of 9.1-0-30-4.

Pakistan won by 69 runs as they wrapped to 141 in 41st over.

Pick of the day is Junaid Hassan for his brilliant 86 runs inning on sticky pitch.

Great to see our youngsters putting in some good performances.

We have removed all over-30 players from the squad after the last ODI tour so we can take a look at our younger options as we are not playing in the World Cup.

With the World Cups coming to an end it also means that the NAT elections will be held soon.

My time as Pakistan manager will be over soon and while it wasn't the best 2 seasons in terms of results, the team still put in some good performances.
Overall in the last 4 seasons the highs and lows of the team were as follows:

Highs

Earned back-to-back promotions from ODI Division 3 to Division 1.
Played in the NAT ODI World Cup where we finished 3rd in the group stage.
Played in the NAT T20 World Cup after a long absence for either Pakistan side where we missed out on a semi-final spot due to NRR.
Earned promotion from NAT T20 Division 3 to Division 1.

Lows

The hard work of promoting to ODI Division 1 got undone as we relegated back to Division 3.
Missed the ODI World Cup.

I would like to thank the NAT Assistants for their hard work and dedication to their respective roles as each of them has shown that they are ready to take charge.
Shahzaday11 has in fact taken charge of the last 2 tours and performed admirably so I have full confidence that he is the right person to lead the NAT side should he decide to run in the elections.

And finally, thank you to all the supporters for following and supporting Pakistan and for the managers who have trained Pakistan players.
