Season 56 Be part of it!

Post by boscorp » Thu Sep 28, 2023 12:22 am

Looks like we are in for some more competitive matches again this season with varying results. Congrats to the Senior National side for once again being the T20 World Champions. Best of luck to everyone and hope you reach your goals.

I don't think total match ratings reflects how closely competitive our leagues are this season. Our leagues are ranked #1 in SOD & T20. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out.

Thanks for another terrific season everyone. It's probably been the most closely contested competitve season in a long time with little between the top 8.
A demotion after many seasons in the OD league signals another change for the club. Some astute bookkeeping from the clubs accountant has opened the temptation to save $ and aim to have a deluxe academy functioning within 2 seasons. My goal is to start upgrades on my reasonable academy on a weekly basis by round 9.. it'll take the club in a different direction financially but I'll hopefully recruit and train up a good squad for another run at div1.
All the best everyone, I'll be trying to remain competitive throughout.

Its a real shame i cant find any historical league rankings. After seeing SA consistently hosting the strongest ranked leagues for so many seasons its come as a real surprise to that go in such a short space of time.
Aside from that i've had a decent season and will be opening my deluxe academy this coming week. Next season both senior sides will be div2 and youth div3.
I trust you all have enjoyed season 57.

Thats a bummer. I reckon SA had a good streak of a few consecutive seasons as the strongest league in the world. :party
